I run 2 flowering rooms opposite each other, when one is on, the other is off. This allows me to half the heat generated and spread the electric consumption. Each room vents into the other removing the need to heat the rooms when lights out. I personally don't worry about the the copters as my setup is bang on and I sleep well at night. I see where your coming from but better safe than sorry is my moto and the old copter is round my area all the time.If you are worried about it, flower during the day time. FLIR is useless during the day. If someone is flying over your house with FLIR, you have been watched for a little bit and will be busted regardless.
Reading IR from a helicopter is not as simple as flying over a neighborhood and writing down addresses. It doesn't look anything like the advertisements for IR blocking material would like you to believe.
A tinfoil hat will keep the thought monsters away..
