I have these coralife t8 lights that used to be on a saltwater tank. Just wondering if these can be used you grow cannabis. It's a 48 inch long double bulb.
It would be good for germinating seedlings or rooting clones.I have these coralife t8 lights that used to be on a saltwater tank. Just wondering if these can be used you grow cannabis. It's a 48 inch long double bulb.
These are t8 HO (high output) I think they are capable of putting out 50 to 60 watts per flouresent bulb. I just have to play with the light spectrum. You’ll get a plant. Have fun doing it.
But don’t expect much outta it. Leds are dirt cheap with the China brands. And they put in a good amount of work
You made your post sound like it was your sole light lol. Yeah. It won’t hurt anything. Might add heatI have 2 bloom plus led lights with those Samsung led but who knows. They are running great so far. Just asking if those other lights will help with flowering. I plan on flipping on Saturday. Fingers crossed.
Sorry for the little info. I'm always forgetting to show the full picture. BTY what would be the best placement for to 6 inch clip on fans. I also have a large isolating fan doing most of the work. You made your post sound like it was your sole light lol. Yeah. It won’t hurt anything. Might add heat
You can get a gram a watt on t5's but there more for the dedicated as I too would recommend LEDs.Cool. I have 500 watt t5 HIGH OUTPUT (HO) 8 bulb 4x2.
I’d still recommend an led
But you can play around with that tiny light if you want. I will work for about 2 weeks
looks nice. I let my t5s sit around for the summer for the heat. bit in the winter I REALLY like it as my led will make the tent to cold for my clones. people really like to use t5s as side lighting to.Here's my whole setup. The other clip on fan is behind the plant on the left. View attachment 4993690
