Cords laying on top of lights, problem?

I'm just curious if the power cords etc. laying/leaning on a light could be an issue? I haven't really seen it discussed before. Is my current setup a problem? Whats your protocol?

My first tent I was a lot more fastidious with cable management.

Things are looser in the auto tent

I make sure to hang mine JUST IN CASE. I have seen cords melt over the years randomly in like construction scenarios( never in my room). I always always always err on the side of caution.

If you've got rats getting into your grow tent, you have bigger problems.
It's a problem that many people have and don't realize it until it becomes obvious. Rodents could be cruising around their property regularly, and they may not notice it until all their time and effort is at risk.

In my opinion, it's better to prevent problems than to just respond to problems.

Do you realize OP's tent is indoors?

Never had rats , chimpanzees, leprechauns or wayward burros in tent.

If you have any rodent infestation evident - that would mean you need a pest control service and rodent exclusion service - re-screening and such. I mean seriously.
In a perfect world, sure, pest control services would be ideal. Not everyone lives in a perfect world where they can call the neighborhood pest control and deal with it that way.

As ridiculous as this is gonna sound - if you “ really “ want to know if a fucking rat is cruising thru your tent , get yourself a long wave UV lamp and lightup that tent in the dark.

Longwave ultraviolet light (350-405nm)

Rat shit and pee will give off a fluorescence under UV.

Interested in Rat Pic tent photos … expect house pics to look like hoarder too. Lets see them ….
