if people are willing to spend $100's of dollars on overpriced commodity hardware wrapped in shiny case with an Apple logo they will flock to commercial weed. Some will even pay 100X the price to some packaged up on fancy packages. How many people will flock to it, I don't know. weed is much simpler to produce than say alcohol or good tasting beer/wine but will 1/2 of Cannabis users grow it?

One thing we know for sure is what the prices will be, so don't expect legal weed to cost $2 per gram. First we already have established prices from the LP's and second the gov is going to want their tax money for making a naturally occurring plant available to us plebeians.

You can grow it...I won't buy it...that works very well if others did the same.

Yea the sad thing is being a medical grower in the States I produce Top notch herb, maybe not THE BEST grower in the world but we have legal recreation pot in my state and my product is in the upper 5% of the herb they offer for $60 1/8.

However People gladly pay the $20 a gram because its at a store in a fancy package, they just don't know better, but one day when all the commercial shits been inbred to meet the demand of the people that just wanna get high and prices continue to go up, we'll be back in the 1980's with black-market herbs.


You guys sound like you're about to get fucked like Washington already has, dumb ass voters!! They are trying to eliminate our medical home grows, force med patients to register and a whole lot of other bullshit!!

Our courts have already decided that we are to have reasonable access...$ is only one barrier to access.

We already had the cheapest weed in the world not too long ago (maybe a 12 months ago) Because of the glut of MMAR licenses weed prices at least in BC dropped to $700-900 per lb for about 6 months. How can you beat that, oh yah the gov got rid of MMAR and prices are back to $1600-2200 per lb now.

yes, I meant in general like buying in Washington, over priced from the stores, disp, lp, sales of mj is high if your not connected to the right st guy.
a lot of people are not, nore can they grow, so they go to the easies thing, a store. like gas they will pay. riu people grow so wtf would you buy? lol you will never buy and if you do, your contacts will set you up.

if you went to Washington to visit, would you go buy from a shop for legal smoke? or search the alleys for crack head joe? if your smart you would find friends online and boom, not all are smart.

I'm actually surprised people haven't gotten co-op clubs going. If I had access to space where I could grow I'd be all over that, now that's just me as I'd be more then fine making $1600 per LB especially if I grew it for $100 oz's
