So here is what happened:
1. Lights shut off and left in the dark for 48 hours.
2. Cut and hung
3. Waited until the stems would snap but not break
4. Fully trimmed and put on drying rack for 1-2 days
5. Put into jars with RH meter caps.
Ok, so on step 5, they were put into jars filled 1/2 way and the RH reading today (Almost 12 hours wait time) is 50%! How can this be, when the room was kept at 55% RH and 75 degrees… It hasn't been that long they were drying.
So, I did fill up two more jars the full way this time and put the caps on them. Is it that they haven't had enough time to accumulate higher % in the jar, or are they over dried?
