I did swim a couple of times when we were trolling - both to cool off and to get rid of excess beer. : }

very very cool man. spf 50 huh? Alaskan winter to CR is quite a climate change. It took two days to fly in hey? Where was the layover?
Layovers were Anchorage, Seattle, LA, San Jose C.R. with our final flight to the small town we stayed in.
SPF 50 was a life saver - I'd look like an over toasted bagel without it.
