Coughing and Growing

What is the relation? If you get some really fire weed and it makes you cough, is it simply because of the nutes used or it being cured wrong? Does THC make you cough? Is it true that if you cough more it is because of "really fire shit"? I am just concerned about the myths that I believed before I began growing and want to correct them. I recently smoked some of the best shit I've ever had (not grown by me) and it makes me cough really really hard. I hate it. Is it because it is good or is it the growers fault??

Im not 100% on this, BUT from what i've read about it , some strains just have a harsher smoke than others. Im sure there can be many other variables , but this is what I understand that has something to do with it.

Well if different strains are what makes you cough, is there any relation to quality of the bud or strain?

That's pretty much how I feel about it.

If you don't wanna cough don't hit it so hard. ;-)

maybe if you think about it, smoking kief made me cough like a motherfucker, and dank weed has more kief on it, so maybe the dankest weed is so dank because it's got so much resin and trichs on it. I know what your talking about, I remember the best weed I've ever smoked being really harsh, but like one or two hits would do you in.

Look at hash, which is mostly trichs. I cough my lungs up on a big hit, always have, likely always will. I think it's (coughing) mostly based on the strength of the herb (THC that is).
