could any one help me with gettin more yeild out of my slh ??

Im growing 25 slh in confined space there 3ft tall an was veged for 3 weeks ,
They have got extrmly tall an bushy , , im worried that big leaves are covering majority of my grow , is it good to take of the leaves so buds can get more light ,
Advise would be appreciated

i have a slh at 4wks flower and only topped 1x, it has 4 tops that are 1ft long and full of buds. the only leaves that i pulled are the dead and sick looking. all the buds still filled in nice and even

When i worked with this strain i never got very large buds. The leaves feed the buds think of them as the solar pannels for each bud site. If i remember right the pheno i had, had long stems on the big leaves, Try to tie them out of the way if possible and only taking them off as a last resort.

More info would help a lot also what size lights and how big of an area to start. Depending on light size you will get decent penetration through your canopy of leaves and lower branches will find a way to get to light, I use hydrofarm hangers to pull lower branches up into open spots in my canopy,get creative.

Like me. I'm new to growing to, I would not have posted either because I do not have enough experience too

I wouldnt take anything off the top and lolipop the bottoms of them. I run 600s and usially get about 2 feet of worth while growth in my cannopy the rest of it below i cut out. That also allows more air to move through them.

I just finished a SLH, and mine stretched bad for about 1st 4 weeks of 12/12. It's not a plant that I would want to grow without some vertical space. It stretched more than the other 2 strains that I was growing with the SLH. The SLH was my lowest yielder too, but it was some of the best smoke I have ever grown to date. I like this strain, and I thought it was fairly easy to grow. She was slow at first but then she just took off and never stopped.

instead of completly removing your leaves you can cut them in half later in flower to get light to the lower bud sites. I ordered some SLH seeds from greenhouse a few months ago from the attitude and got the 5 fem pack and it was a seed short and that was in the breeders pack even. So i contacted attitude and they are supposed to send me a free seed my next order which i did today basically just for the greenhouse strain hunters lanyard lol but im gonna try my superlemon haze outdoors here in montana and see if it can finish before it gets too cold out here. In 3 weeks your plants are 3 ft tall that must have been a vigorus plant or you had the light a good distance away and its stretched to 3 ft tall wanting to get to your light
