Could i do 11/13 for the last week of flowering?

I have to turn the lights back to 11 hours days because i want them to shut off earlyer for a couple days. IF i were to do this what would happen? week 8 of flowering. Would it help in the ripening?

It wouldn't make any difference as long as you aren't lengthening cycle past 12 hours. It gets down to 11 hours in nature anyway. But who knows, it may make them think the end of the season is coming and they'll finish faster, lol, doubt it tho.

wouldn't do anything. some people give their plants complete darkness and ice water at the end because it is supposed to increase resin or size. a guy on skunkskool.com just did a well recorded test with 3 plants giving one complete darkness and ice water for 5 days and one with half icewater/darkness and one was a control that was ran normal. they all looked about the same with no real difference.

Thats sappose to make a purple strain more purple. Cold temps. Im just doing 11 hours to save on the powerbill and make them shut off an hour earlyer for security perpuse for that week

The extra hour of darkness won't cause any changes.

Subtracting an hour of light means losing about 8 1/2% of the plants photosynthesis!

Of course it makes a difference!
