Could I make a grow cabinet out of this?

Okay so I've been thinking about growing on and off for awhile, I've read a lot about lighting, growing materials etc etc. I have a 500 dollar home depo card to my disposable. I'm just trying to grow so I don't have to pay 20 dollars a gram of some decent stuff or going through endless contacts trying to find some.

Cabinet specs. 24"T, 20"W, 18"D.









I plan on going soil/fluorescent because this is my first grow and I don't wanna invest too much into it just yet.

Will this work?

If it will any recommendations on how many plants to grow at once, number of bulbs to use, size fan of exhaust.

The room it is in also has no windows so I'm concerned it might not get enough fresh air but I do have a cool air return duct which I plan on putting the exhaust fan vent close to.

Sorry if I was rambling a bit, wake and bake you know how it is.

Ya dude you can grow in that I would use 6-8 40ish watters(home depot has em) Four 120mm computer fans(2 intake, 2 outtake). Use a indica and LST. My veg box is similar and has 2 120mm comp fans and 4 80mm and has 250 watts of 6500K CFL's my flower box is bout twice the size of ur cab and has7 fans and 500 watts of cfl. A mix of LST and micro SOG works really well in these situations. PM me if you need any help. Good luck and happy growing

Ya u def have room to flower. I have a separate flower cab bout twice that size that I end up doing half micro SOG and half bigger LST'd plants. If you can swing it make a separate flower box so you can have a perpetual grow harvesting 1 plant every 2-4 weeks depending on how you set it up. Otherwise if you only have one box you will be waiting 3-4 months between harvests. Go find yourself an adjustable volts charger so you can control the speed of your fans. If you get some low ryder plants and LST, there should be no problems in growing there. Just make sure you have plenty of CFL's... you can never have enough.

low ryder is auto flowering right? will i have enough time to lst it to make it worth it??

yeah they are autoflowering. Im not a huge fan of autoflower plants. You'd be better off getting some 100% indica strains and lst'ing those. You will have enough room if you have a 2-3 week veg.

You can also slap some of the led spot grows 18w in there as well, 2 help get the full spectrum.
