i was just getting rid of about 6 bags of dirt, roots, growbags, rootballs, stalks, and more that have my fingerprints on it and i was wondering what if the guy standing there spotted this stuff could they get a search warrent on that alone?

Fingerprints off dirt? Besides you have an easy out, "Sorry officer I saw something in there and wanted to check it out." Done. Don't worry man. Key rule is don't tell anyone about your stuff or where it "might" be.

mabe i am paranoid, but i've done this a few times and never felt like i did today a few of the bags were kind of open and i could see a grow bag with a stalk and leaves poken out and my fingerprints are all over the grow bags and some of the stuff could have my mail in it with my name, address i know i got sloppy this time and there was a new guy directing trucks that was right in front of my truck when i was unloading that said stop as i was trying to pull away.i bet those guys are there to watch for batteries and freon type stuff. i was completely noided out and i have't smoked for 2 days so i can't blame that. + rep

I've wondered the same thing but the reality is once your trash is picked up it is compacted in a trash truck and then dumped at a landfill at which point it is eventually buried. If at the time of pickup your trash bag ripped open and the garbage man saw a stock or leaves then there could be a problem.

If you are talking about the landfill, I'd say you are worrying about nothing. If you are talking about the curb in front of your house, you might have a point.

Why not compost all that good stuff? A compost bin is simple to build and crazy easy to maintain. Mixed with kitchen scraps and yard waste, all those growing-related items would be indistinguishable. And you get finished compost as the end result!

Good luck and good growing.
