could these be preflowers? early signs of sex?

hey guys. these plants are 4.5 weeks veg and are now 3 days into flower. do those look like future bud sites or balls? or maybe im looking at new leaf shutes starting to grow? any help is greatly appreciated

Yep definetly branches. And it depends on strain and environment. But o would say within the next 2 weeks you will see a sex. And for females just look for white hairs.

Looks like seed balls startin to form from the picture so its probably male. Only reason i say that is becasue female bud sites tend to be raised on a tiny stem when they begin to grow were as a male seed ball will grow right out from the plant which the pictures depicts. I could be wrong but try and get a better picture close up were the limbs meet the stalk, these are called bud sites.

Looked like a branch to me. But you may be right. The only one that can really tell with the pic is the grower..
. if there are tiny leafs it is a branch. And if a little pair of hairs its a female and no hairs a male. They will find out for thwmselfs very soon

Those are branch beginnings not male pods. I'm sure of it. You have 9-12 days till you know sex , typically. Imo. Good luck
