Based on that, I wonder how the world would be different if businesses were required to pay employees for their days work every day they worked. One of the hardest parts of paycheck to paycheck living is waiting to pay bills.

Oh i do not doubt for a second that there are active programmes in operation focusing on population control through innocent means be it vaccinations diseases terror attacks or wars etc.

what i would do is this. i would have a ten year plant to phase out chinese imports. i know its cheaper to buy chinese crap but why make them rich. i would open an organization in charge of phasing the chinese out and open up more foundries and assembly lines to replace the made in china crap with made in usa stuff. this will also create about 250,000 jobs over the next ten years and upwards of 500,000 jobs in 20 years. then i would remove 90 percent of our troops from overseas. and over ten years have 100 percent back. then i would tighten up the mexican border and hire a couple more agents to secure the border and keep our annual 39 billion in the states. then i would legalize pot and close down the dispensaries and market through the state governments. then make the states pay more to federal government since their budgets will increase 10 fold. then i would phase out most of the politicians like that thatchers and rubios who steal tax money. i would also drill for oil off floridas coast at least 10 stations in the next 10 years to become less dependent on foreign oil. and if we do what i just said in the next 20 years we created almost 1 million jobs and regain our resources which would lower gas prices and keep our money in our own countries i would also regain about 50 percent of our humanitarian resources by not helping other countries unless they asked for help. by doing what i just said we once again become the worlds superpower
Just to stay even with the increasing work force, the USA needs to create 150,000 jobs EVERY MONTH!!! You need to Create 2.5 MILLION jobs over the next 10 years. You also have to Strip China of its most important trade partner status and then make it illegal to trade with them. Then there will be a big war. Who knows what would happen then.
Lets not forget that China can cause a 25% increase in all prices in the USA just by dumping treasuries.

We don't need to stop trading with them. We need to slap heavy tariffs on goods coming from their country so US manufacturing can compete. That's what they do to US goods, but we don't do it in return.

It's insane that we have nearly free trade policies with countries like China who have no labor standards and manipulate their markets to make American goods really expensive. If America is to remain competitive in the global market we need to replace our blanket policy of free trade around the world with a fair trade policy.
China's economic success largely comes from them not playing by the same set of rules as we do. In China it's legal to steal our intellectual property. They make it impossible for American goods to be competitive in their market through tariffs and currency manipulations. In return we let them import as much Chinese goods as they want into this country and do it with very low tariffs which puts American companies both retail and manufacturing out of business. China is playing for keeps and we aren't. It's that simple.
China is just one example of this. Countries all over the world are ripping the US off, ending US industry, and taking our jobs because they are willing to protect their industries and we are not. The worst part is that no one in this country seems to give a shit. It's not even on our political radar here.

Drilling for oil won't save us. It's a false solution. If we opened up new drilling right now we wouldn't see an economic benefit for over a decade. Even when we did, that effect would be very minor since oil prices are cartel controlled and most of the oil we have in America that we haven't tapped into would be very expensive and isn't economically viable unless gas prices went up to $10 a gallon. We could be off foreign oil by then if we got serious about it. I'd rather get serious about getting off oil than get serious about new drilling.

In short this would take us in a direction of becoming a third world economy. Lots of workers and few jobs equals low pay. People with little money can only afford a few necessities, see your local Walmart for details. The government does not need your taxes to operate, operationally taxes function to regulate aggregate demand, and not to raise revenue.
The US has a bigger economy than China. Chinese will pack themselves in shipping containers in brutal squalid conditions just to get to America, they don't always survive. That's because a lot of Chinese are still dirt poor and doing shit work in America is much better than what they could get in China.
I think this is a very good idea, it is far better than anything coming out of Washington. In my opinion it is the best idea in this thread for improving the economy.
I am here in SoCal where the best weed on planet is. This opinion is for California only where weed is quasi legal. Money in this business is for the most part circulated locally. I would oppose legalizing weed at this time. Why? Most of the dispensaries employees, growers, trimmers and delivery guys are in there twenties. Unemployment is very high for this group like 35%. And many who are employed are under employed. Growers how would you do competing against ADM (Archer Daniels Midland). Trimmers how are you going to compete against Cambodian trimmers or God forbid John Deere gets into making trimming machines. Dispensaries how would you do against Wallgreens? True if weed was outright legalized prices would drop dramatically and I am all for this but it would destroy the current industry as it is now.
I would oppose giving the Feds any tax money from weed sales. Remember the Feds have an endless supply of money, in fact they have an absolute monopoly on making money. Here's something the Feds can do, for every Tax dollar the State collects from weed they should match it with a 5 dollar contribution towards Schools, Colleges, Universities etc.
