Well as you all can see im new here and have just been reading im gonna start with a pc stealth grow. but i was wondering what kinda seeds i should purchase. is there some strains that are easier to grow? can take a bit more abuse (seeing how its my first time) and are still a decent price. I still have to read alot more i just would like some input. Also i though a light cycle of 20/4 was for vegging correct me if im wrong. how are people doing a pc grows from seed to harvest with 20/4?

Whatever you choose, it needs to be an auto strain. I think Nirvana seeds NL Auto would be a good place to start. An auto-flower strain is a plant that will go from seedling directly into flowering and usually with almost any photo-period. A lot of Auto growers choose 20/4 because it is argued that the additional 4 hours of light are not consumed and the plant needs resting time. I tend to agree.

You can get the seeds for the strain I mentioned at the single seed center for $8.47 ea and that is feminized. Good yield short plant Indica dominant hybrid. Here is a link to the seed bank and Good Luck!

yep bk is rite, if your going to do a pc grow, autoflowering seeds are your best bet, no1 cos they are small. no 2 because they will yeild alot faster then normal plants.u should go from seed to harvest in 8-10weeks instead of 14-16weeks with normal indicas "depending on veg time". just make sure u use good soil with natural food like manures/wormcastings etc ..

hey crazed! yeah all the advice given so far is good. you can, for your first grow, start with something inexpensive or free...if u keep up with ur plants (which who on this forum wouldnt, lol talk about a need for instant gratification!) you can keep them the size you want. there are some SICK pc grows on here, just keep researching and learning! put a link to your journal when you start it in ur signature...

Thanks everyone for the info I'm still gonna read up for a few weeks. I want to know alot more about nutes and soil before i start. money isn't a big deal for me just looking to start another hobby.I will def. Rep when I figure out how lol. On the iphone right now so I can't just hold the mouse over to find info haha.

can any one help me plants have been inflower for 8 weeks just found out been feeding them canna a instead of canna a and b 2 of the four have rippened and need to be harvested but the buds are not the biggest the other 2 havnt rippened they still look as though there in abt week four of flower no full buds at all but ive noticed one or two pistills turning brown if i put them back into 18 and 6 for two weeks then out them back on 12 and 12 would they fill out any more thank you if you can help

what are your thoughts on possibly trying led in a pc grow peeps? waste of time or no? was just gonna get some cfl obviously but led really intrigues me for some reason low heat.. inexpensive power wise, not that cfls are really that expensive power wise.

Stick with CFL's. I've had great results from them and i'm sure tons of people can vouch that they work well. I've never had an issue with CFL's burning my plants or giving off much heat at all.

Ya I was gonna go pimp style and incorporate some led strips possibly in my pc grow as well along the base of the pc. But that's a pipe dream lol

If i were you, I would go with lowryder, short ryder, or you could probably do barney's Pineapple express if you wanted too. People say the pineapple express only gets about 12-14inches tall..with a 20/4 light schedule and keep the fans on during the dark periods just to keep the stems strong. Just try not to top, lst or any thing to auto's because most of the time it will lower your yield. Goodluck:)

wow thanks for the heads up on the lst cause i was going to do that haha. and havent looked into topping yet anyways lol!! thanks for the heads up and the ideas for seeds
