Ive not used co2 for the veg cycle of my photos or autos that are budding already.

When I flip to 12/12 should I set up CO2 for the flower or just wait till next grow?

How does CO2 effect autos already flowering?

Thanks alot

CO² is necessary for photosynthesis. I add massive amounts and get alot of swollen monsters. Here in Tx theres no shortage of dry ice and after I do cold extraction, ice hash I bring the leftover rocks of ice to the flower room. I've had it so foggy in there that ya had to feel your Way out.

Beyond a certain point CO2 is not only a waste but it's detrimental to plant health. Too much co2 will prevent the plants stomata from opening and slow growth to a crawl.

Having large spikes with times of low CO2 is probably why it's working ok. But the same or better results could be obtained from running a CO2 controller, enriching to 1200 PPM and letting it drop down to 400 before letting it ramp back up. This makes the plant really use that CO2. There is a technical explanation about plant hormones, stomata and all that jazz that someone posted on the forum if you feel like digging a little, it really helps you understand how the plant uses Co2 and how to get the most out of it.

Experiment and see what works best for you. My outdoor plant loved when I would fire up the pool heater:
