Hey guys, so in nearly ready to set up my organic no till bed for my next cycle, just waiting on the bed itself.
I’m wondering what cover crops have the most shallow roots? I obviously don’t want them to compete too much, as I’ll have 4 plants in a 65 gallon.
I have alfalfa/clover growing in my outdoor pots right now, combined with a layer of mulch(mostly hay), and it seems to be working well, but I’d like to try something more fragrant and beneficial. Chamomile, peppermint, and lemon balm are three that have piqued my interest.
Let me know what you guys think, and if there aren’t others that would be better, as I’be read that peppermint and lemon balm can be invasive and compete with my cannabis plants.
Thanks!
