Coyotes got my dog! I want revenge

Killing coyotes is not the same as lighting them up with a paintball gun...Shooting animals with a paintball gun is animal cruelty, no if's, and's, or but's...Unless you were in the woods paintballing with your friends and got attacked by like a mountain lion, or a bear, maybe a pack of wolves, in which case you're fucked anyway...But coyotes VERY rarely try to attack humans, let alone actually kill them, so self defense MIGHT not fly on that one

Your right meta, i probably wont becuase it seems too complicated to hunt them atleast with out a gun. I live in a city not country side. Looking for cayotes in a city sounds much harder than lookibg for them on farm land atleast with out getting pulled ova by cops

you had me going along with it til this

I plan on training them to kill cayotes when they are older and stronger. How do i train the puppies to fight cayotes? Im thinking spike collars along with home made body armor. And ill be armed with a baton.

What ever happened to a pellet gun??? If its on or near your property and its a coyote around your dogs i would have to assume you would have a right to discharge a few pellets into that coyote..

doubt that^ and there is no way a couple of russel terriers could take on some coyotes get real!
Thats were the spike collard and the home made body armor comes through lol. If i presume my revenged, i would strap layers of tire sheets around the belly and thighs

If you want to train your dog to kill a coyote, just have your dog catch and kill everything that it eats.

That's how the coyote trains.

Sorry about your loss. I wouldn't risk another pet if I were you.

You might want to think about building a kennel or fence in your front or back yard. They can't hurt your animals if they can't get to them. We get coyotes and mountain lions too. I was walking with my mom about 12 years ago and we saw a mountain lion slink across the road from our property to the edge of the mesa and down to the river. Scared the hell out of us. Broad daylight. Middle of the day. Who knew? We also get the occasional bobcat and bear. We fenced in our yard years ago and keep the pets behind the fence. We haven't lost a single animal.

For a month i believed my dog was ran over but today after really looking at her pic from the pound. She had bite marks and her beak was bitten off. I researched the area she was found dead and it says cayotes are known to attack pets and seen to eat cats around that area. I still have a few puppies from my dead russel terrior. I plan on training them to kill cayotes when they are older and stronger. How do i train the puppies to fight cayotes? Im thinking spike collars along with home made body armor. And ill be armed with a baton.
Maybe you should train your dog not to run away.
maybe you should train yourself into a responsible dog owner. your dog was on the loose. if your dog got killed by other dogs would you wanna kill those dogs as well?
i get how you feel if something happened to my dog i would be mad, but you have to be responsible.

its spelled coyote not cayote btw

Where I am from coyotes kill live stock, attack dogs and smaller animals, and rumage around in garbage. What do we do? Our state pays us a bounty for every coyote we kill. Just bring the pelt in. I've killed more useless coyotes then I can count. Easy as shit to hunt too. So dumb. And mountain lions do not fuck around....so be veeerrry careful. They can be 10 feet behind you and you not even know it. Crafty ass, dangerous mother fuckers. Make sure you have a biiiig sidearm. A .357 magnum works well. Good luck.

or small dogs.

I kept my mothers Shitzu for awhile after she had to go into a home, then it got left outside by accident (wife did it), I cleaned up the blood in the morning.

We have a Korean Jundo - kills everything, but is mindful of the large "Alpha" Coyote in the pack.

We see lost cat signs all the time.

Sorry about your loss :joint::peace:
