cracked bulb?

my 200watt envirolite has just arrived and i instantly noticed one of the bulbs has a crack at the bottm, i have to wait afew more days for the fixing so i can not try it out to see if it works or not . do you guys think it will work coz i will need to send it back before next week.

any thoughts? thanks people

Send it back. If it did work it is only a matter of time before it fails. The gas may have already escaped rendering it near useless.

i have a 125w cfl and its got a creack on it not at the bottom at the top and it just sort of repaired its self or something it made like a brown solid go there and the light is still working. I dnno.

Dude, assuming you paid good money for what was supposed to be a brand new bulb, I would return it.

Even if it works fine you shouldn't put up with paying full price for damaged goods. And as Little Tommy said, even if it works it might stop working shortly so just return it and get a new one.

meh i dont know whether it was me who did it or not i havent dropped it or anything but just cba its working and whatever and i have another anyway. Peace
