Craigslist postings?

My friend's contact totally flaked so I posted on CL for 420. Got a few responses, actually, but am slightly paranoid about meeting strangers since I used to get from friends before their source went AWOL.

I did some Google research to see if there were any accounts of stings or anything like that for *buyers* and found nothing- it only seems like there have been busts of sellers. Before I go and do something dumb, have any of you heard of anyone busted for *buying* small amounts on CL? We're not talking a kilo here- maybe 1/2 at most.

I've never heard of it ... But you're definitely taking a huge risk nonetheless. I'm surprised there are actually dealers dumb enough to reply to something like that.. That alone makes me wonder if they are even real dealers... But at the same time, I can't really imagine a cop going out of his way to bust someone for a small time deal like that. But who knows... Go for it and tell me what happens.

I'm sure you didn't write the title so it's obvious what you're looking for .. How would the dealers just happen to come across your post without looking for it? Or did you write something like 'Looking for green' .. ?

id watch my ass , the f.b.I watches that site, they look for bussinesses advertiseing and not paying tax's, i got busted running adds for my tattoo busness . all i got was a fine & kicked outa my place cause it was in the lease that i couldnt run a home based business.
they tracked it to my ip address and got the home info from my cable co.
let me tell you having a agent knocking on your door, and knowing that you have weed growing. makes you shit ur pants and sober up quick.
