Never done this before. Here goes. I planted my seed in a party cup and i was digging around with a small object to see if iy had sprouted. It did but in the process i accidently moved it. So i gently picked it up by the seed making sure not to break the taproot

However when i kept covering it back with dirt its orientation kepy getting messed up so i had to handle it a few more time. Then finally i just burried the root and left the seed above soil. So its just laying there and i dont know if its dead or not =[ any ideas?

You want the green seed leaves to be up off the ground and dry. a layer of expanded clay pebbles or perlite on the soil surface might help. just when you see the round green leaves forming that's the part that needs light and air. rinse off the leaf part and see if it turns toward the light , spray water lightly or drip it from your hand. good luck

Dude, you need to learn some patience. You have 2-5 months of waiting. and you HAD to see if it was going because you hadn't seen it pop yet? Take a deep breath brother, it's going to be a long harvest if you don't.
