Thanks dude! kinda forgot about this thread since i went HPS.

Loving the HPS. dont have to move bulbs all over anymore. Everyone is doing good and fattening up.

Lone ranger ended up being some kind of purple sativa. its getting mad purp all over the buds now!

Unfortunately last nite it looks like hte topped plant went hermie and popped out 2 male sacs i think. plucked em so keeping an eye out now. I found 1 more but that one had pistils coming out, so maybe i was over zelous and accidently picked a female part, but id rather be safer then sorry!

Day 32 flowering. thinnking im about half way now. Picked up some Tiger Bloom yesterday to enhance the bloom cycle with a bit more P and K and little less N. the bontanicare hydro bloom nutes has too much N. topper is showing N tox which is odd since it has even more plant to disperse the food to.

I was thinking of switching to Foxfarm nutes too (to tiger bloom from botanicare also). Will see how yours do. Looking good!

I have a 2'x2', so went with a 150w hps (upgrade from cfl, in the middle of flower). I could go 250w hps in that small space in the winter, but think the temps might be too high for me in the summer. So would run the 150w hps in the summer, and 250w hps in the winter. Want to see one full flower with the 150w first.

If things go well with temps, I might do a dimmer 250/400, and do 400 in the winter, 250 in the summer! That would rock.

Sounds doable dude! Just gave first dose of tigerbloom yesterday and i must say i tihnk i notice a slight difference already. 3 plants starting to get fatter. My prized purple random seed is getting super fat in last 48hrs. she was still wet tho so no Tiger Bloom until tomorrow. calls for 2-3tsp per gallon which a tsp =5ml so i gave em 12ml for first try.

Im running at 400 right now in a cool tube thats just opens to the air for now. temps are 70 with light on and 65 off, in a basement. Tho the basement does have a electric heater going next to the tent to keep some warmth and keep basement at 63. I think if you have a good exhaust system you should be okay with a 250 or 400. Ill prob have to vent my light come summer, tho we are building a room in our basement so debating whether ill use tents in the room or build the room for the grows.

Thanks dude. Im excited to see how much as well. Started with CFL in veg then HPS to flower so should be good yield. Id say there is at least 1oz right now between teh 4. maybe 1oz just on the purple one alone. ( very mad i didnt get any clones. everything has buds now and lower section got trimmed while back ). Id like at least 2oz total. They are kinda crammed and getting alot of light lower popcorn buds but thats fine with me. Next setup with be 2 - 5gals under a SCROG and shoot for 10ozs.

Onto week 6 of flowering! Everyone is fattening up now! Really liking this Tiger Bloom. Once they all got a hit of that, they started to fatten real quick and all the hairs turning orange now. went from the 2-5-3 Botanicare bloom to Tiger Bloom 2-8-4. Give em an extra boost.

Thought one of the plants was throwing nanners but looks like they where just swelled up calyxes that popped out some pistils. Might have seen a nanner today so i cut whatever it was out.

Will get some pics up tonite! Couple more weeks left!

Day 74 - Day 41 Flowering

Man im glad i switched to the HPS. These bitches are getting fatttttt! especiialy my tall ones closest to the light. Poor topper has been pushing a few nanners. ive cut em out as quick as i could catch em. nothing poking out today which is good. no problems on the others. Hoping about 2 more weeks left. still decent white hairs on Big Fatty and the topped one. Lone Ranger has lovely purple going all over, but not the leaves. still nice green to them. no one is showing N deff yet, just the left over damage from my calmag lockout.

Well the girls are almost done! My loupe should be here today. Damn USPS and not leaving it yesterday. shit costs 5$. wtf. So just waiting on that damn thing so i can check them. they are all pushing MAD trich building. Purple Lone Ranger is getting so damn frosty. Im so mad i didnt clone this one. The others are doing great. the single 1.5gal is almost all orange hairs now. I think she may be done and ready to chop on new years day, since im off work.

Well everyone is only strictly water now. No calmag either. I mad add some molasses to next water for a bit of sugar additives.

Day 80 - Day 51 Flowering

Loupe finally came. Most are looking cloudy. Kinda wished i got a higher X loupe then the 30x. I have shitty eyes.

Im gonna let them go one more week. Just started week 8 now so possibly 2 more. Getting slightly impatient now but i can wait it out! Everyone is gaining alot of mass the past few days and heavy trich build up.

Lone Rangers purple is so amazing. the Fans are starting to get it too now and shes getting soooo frosty.

Ive been lowering my night temps to around 65 to induce a bit more seasonal enviornment to them. Just starting to soak up that last of the N in the leaves as everyones slowly turning yellow which is okay now.

Welp starts week 9! I think i will be chopping 2 of 4 this wednesday/thursday. Im going to let the purp go a bit longer along with my big ass bush.

I really wish i knew the strains of all these bagseeds. the purple is amazing on this plant, the colors of the fans even too is so awesome! Each plant seems to be a different strain. Really wish i would cloned it for my next grow which will be a scrog.

my 1.5 gal that pushed 45" tall. she'll be getting the chop along with the topped plant on wednseday! They are still slowly pushing nanners so im just gonna chop em. they are frosty as hell already and milky trics right now. few more days and theyll be good enough for me. Ill let hte other 2 go til sunday.

1st one is coming down tonite after work! Shes done, all her fans are drying out and used up all the nitro. NOW IM EXCITED!

Your buds are looking good!

Since this is the CFL forum, and you've gone over to the dark side with HPS, I am going to mention something about CFLs.

CFLs can be a hassle, having to reposition then all the time. But it can be considered fun, too. Might keep one busy enough so they're not over-watering on getting too fancy with fertilizer.

But once the plant stops growing, and the buds are doing all the growing, there is little need to adjust the CFLs. One can add more CFLs, move one over so it is shinning on three buds instead of just one, or lower one to get some of the lower buds what they want. But, the last five or six weeks, there is very little CFL moving needed. More like fine tuning.

Do tell us how it all turns out, OK?

Thanks for the info. I will continue to use CFL. I will veg with CFLs for each grow i tihnk then flower with my HPS. HPS made a mad difference. chopping down another today and her top colas are 16" long. DAMN!

i like the cfls for veg so i can keep em close and keep plant from stretching but it was getting annoying doing alot of moving.

Will post some pics up tonite when i chop the 2nd. Temps have been getting down to 63-65 at night. its making all the buds turn purple now. pretty sweet how temps affect color.

Finished chopping the 2nd plant. This was the topped plant in my 1.5 gal pot. She was a monster at 50" tall. 12" cola weighed 80gs wet. Excited to see how she turns out dry. 2nd top was 65g wet. then a ton of lower buds. Prob got close to 2oz of trim which will be great for edibles.

Im not to sure on brand. Its my roommates. Its like a 500g scale cause he uses it to weigh disc golf discs when he sells them. Im probably gonna upgrade to someting a bit bigger. its more of a pocket scale.

Back at it again!

Day 4

4 more random seeds. All from same plant tho, since they all can from same ounce a friend gave me to try out. Unsure of name, hes trying to find out. I got bored with the other one being done about 4 weeks now and im ready to fire this shit back up again. was too much fun. Was about to order some Agent Orange from cannazon and theyre sold out so im going to wait until they are restocked.

Gonna veg these for awhile and see if they come out female. If seeds get in stock soon and come quick i may grow these randos off to the side.

Plan is for 2 plants - low wide 5gal pots - scrog setup under 400w HID. CFL for veg. bit cheaper and keeps em low until i want them to stretch and ill switch to a Mh.
