Well everyone,
Here are the pictures of my Nordic Jack before and after her L.S.T. I topped her at the fifth node, left her alone for four week's or so, then last Saturday night she got the bondage. She will be seven week's old when I initiate flowering, this will be on Sunday. It went very well and in twenty four hour's she had fully recovered. I fed her quite a bit of CalMag and she took the bending no problem, very good stem structure. I can't wait to see her in flower with all the additional bud sites. Very exciting!
She really filled out since the L.S.T. picture was taken, all those hidden branch's are now fully exposed. What a difference. Now I have to wait for her to stretch to see how well I've done. I want to stop these girls from out growing their space. Finger's crossed!

Woops totally forgot about this site for awhile.
Random bag seed. unknown name but high quality.
Well as i pictured last i started with 4 plants. grew all 4 under my CFL setup again. Went from solo cups to 1gals. 2 grew fast 2 grew kinda slow. Due to some neglect the 2 taller ones where drying out alot and getting to tall to fast. the 3rd wasnt looking like a great contestant for my scrog setup i wanted to try. but my last plant was perfect. killed the other 3 and then threw the winner into a 5.5 wide pot and topped it. keep this bitch low. did small amount of LST to the 4 mains. and switched over to my MH 400 since at that point i was pretty much at 400w of CFL which i was tired of moving. grew her out and it must be a auto cause it sexed fem again during 24/0 which is fine with me.
Built my scrog out of some 3/4" PVC ,screws and string. works great.
heres some pics now. about 20 days into flowering and shes finally done stretching. tops are starting to form now so it looks like a kept her under the screen nice and timely. about 16 main shoots up thru the screen and tons of small side shoots that are packing on size daily. deff loving this scrog stuff and it keeps it so nice and low... tho watering fuckin sucks!
Funniest part was ive really neglected these plants this time around and im getting ZERO problems from them aside from slight tip burn and under feeding signs. no calcium or mag issues. I did change my water tho. instead of distilled and worrying about ph and levels and ppm ive just been using our faucet water since we are on a well. not even bothering PHing anymore. gets 5ml calmag every water, feed ever other watering with 15ml Botanicare Pro Bloom but now that shes done stretching im moving to Tiger Bloom earlier this time instead of week 4 last ran.
will post back soon! Deffinitely recommend Scrogs if possible. really excited to see this outcome as ive got most branches all pretty level!

Yeah on my downtime i kinda forgot about RUI but im back!
On about week 3 of flowering now. been kinda lazy with timing and such. just gonna keep an eye with my loupe from now on. 9 wks last run was too early but we'll see what this seed does.

Update time! On like week 5 or something. ive been working so much ive lost track. i know i flipped 12/12 on 3/10 when i noticed sexed fem.
Looking nice. some slight purpling to the centers going from cooler temps at nite a few weeks back. seems when they get anywhere below that 65* they start to go purple. its finally warming up here in the midwest so shes doing good.
Gonna have some nice fat colas and then a ton of minis in the middle!

Thanks CD! Feels great to hear that from you! I am super happy with this scrogging ordeal. i real recommend it. the outer ring is like all 10" tall colas now and the cent is tons of dense 4" ones all over. all little better training with the center next time and the middle should rise up to some big fat colas too.
This plant was topped once only as well. the side chutes really come up and beef up heavily. didnt even think it would fill the whole screen and it did.
Week 7 now. Got a 60x loupe on the way since my 30x i got i could hardly see shit. Gonna let these go to 10 weeks or more i tihnk this round. last round was about 9 weeks /62 days and i chopepd to early along with a bad drying/cure. hardly any effect from all 4 plants i grew. was sad. had to smoke a blunt to feel anything ( tho my tolerance is very high. my roommate said it was good to him). never smelled right. i chopped at what ithought was a full cloudy to a few amber but maybe not enough. but a better loupe will help with that.
Any input on if i should cut out food soon? i feed every other watering with Tiger Bloom right now and last round i cut out feeding at start of week 8 or so and they all yellowd up so fast that slightly caused me to cut down early too. Note - I have done ZERO flushes. just watering/feeding every other with no problems at all. maybe just cut out feeding on last week?

Hey Guy's,
My girl turned purple as well when she was flipped to flower. At first I thought phosphorous deficiency, however it was the cold basement temperature and the bulb change to 2700k that brought it on. Here's some pictures of her @ six weeks into flower. Nice grow Crawlintbss, looking really promising! My girl is a Nordic Jack from Norden Seed's. Flowering may be ten weeks, from what I've read the Jack Herer(Northern Light x Jack Herer ) is considered a haze, hence the longer flowering period. The LST went great, most definitely will do this to every Photo from now on. Wonderful plant, I barely need my filter this strain practically has no smell until touched. Apparently this strain is mega potent.

PS: These are the most dense bud's I've grown under CFL'S. Rock hard.

Damn sherm that looks killer for CFLs! Yeah the purpling seems to happen anywhere below 65 for me. the second my tent hits below that for a night its noticable the next day. im sitting at 70s now at night due to it being around 80 here now in the daytime. Gonna have to move the next grow back to the basement. Its all in my closet now due to when it was started it was 0 out and my basement couldnt get over 60 without running my heater all day which sucked alot of power.
Heres my lady at start of week 8 today. Gonna give her maybe 2 more feedings then its water until week 10. checked with my 60x its some clear, alot getting cloudy. maybe 1 or 2 ambers so im hoping about 10 weeks. i dont wanna pull the food too soon like last time and yellow out to fast. I am getting a tiny bit of magnesium lockout, which im guessing is prolly high ph due to not phing my water this time,and no flushes have happened and i water with minimal runoff due to not setting up any drip try when i setup the scrog. so i was kinda stuck after that. she'll be okay for 2 more weeks. The way shes looking im hoping for 2-3oz. thats still not even .5g/w.

Thank's for the kind words. Ya I'm still rocking the CFL'S. I still find it a lot of fun seeing what kind of yield's I can achieve with these bulb's. Nice scrog setup btw, that gal is looking fine. I was going to scrog this girl, however I need to hone my topping and LST'ing skill's before hand, one step at a time if you will. I'll be sending good karma your way! I will keep you updated on my progress.

Just hitting day 67 now. ending out week 9. Shes on water only now. Trichs are maybe 10-30% clear - rest cloudy. Hoping only about 2 more weeks as its getting fairly hot during the day here causing some high temps now, where my tent is setup. the basement is nice and cool but dont tihnk i can move the scrog how its setup now. I may try to tomorrow. debating cutting out the screen now and seeing if she will just support herself for the rest of the time but not sure if i can get the plant it self into the basement lol.
Last nite i came home from work to find my ventech inline had shut off, and being that it hit the 70s/80s yesterday the tent was at 98* because of only a small fan going inside. ugh. unplugged it from the speed controller and hooked it up and ran fine now. it is making some odd noise on the variation setting so now i have to leave it on full blast which is kinda loud in my room. Glad i caught it fairly quick, it may have been like that all 8 hrs i was gone
but the girl looks fine.
getting frostier but i didnt trim enough under the canopy/scrog and it seems to be sprouting alot of buds down below and not alot of fattening to the nugs lately. but the are nice and plump and sticky already.

It suck's when you have any mechanical failure, especially a fan. I also have a speed controller, I can't live without it. I'm running a 445 cfm six inch inline hurricane fan and love it. The fan setup is wicked overkill but necessary for keeping my box just at the right temperature. Currently my filter is a four inch 200 cfm model. As soon as this one bites the dust I'm going to order a six inch 400 cfm filter more suitable for my setup. Are you still kick'n it with CFL'S or did you upgrade to HID? Anyway, good luck with your system, I'll be sending good vibes your way!

Everything seems okay. Shes taking on water fine. Really wish i did a better under screen trim. shes pushing alot of power to these lower pewny junk growth. itll be good for edibles tho i guess. top nugs are nice and fairly fat.
Sherm - I like to veg with CFLs so i can keep em close and not use my tent. then as they get to around 10"s pending how many days its been, i may move to mh, or just use CFLs until flowering, then i got HPS for some good weight since my elec at my house is only .10c/kw which is dirt cheap compared to some other neighborhoods around here. So its only 20$ to run my setup all month which is nice.
I flipped 12/12 on March 10th. so by counting the weeks im on week 11 already? clipped another leaf to check trics. finally starting to see a few ambers starting up. still some clears all over but will be monitoring closely now. Hoping to be ending late next week. Shes on water only now. Do you advise i remove the calmag as well?
resin build is deff visual. getting even frostier right now! Temps dropped to 50s outside past few days, cause the midwest is fuckd up, so shes purpled up a bit the past few nights which is okay. Smelling great tho compared to last grow, all my plants just smelled earthy.
Will post pics on friday on my day off. Contemplating cutting the screen out so i can remove the plant to inspect better but i think some branches may sag over due to weight.
