I think it depends on the person. For many ... the classic indole and phenethylamine psychedelics, 5HG2A agonists (LSD and mescaline being class leaders). For me, the dissociants, NMDA antagonists, have led to "deeper" experiences. cn

In my experience, K totally aced DMT as a visionary drug. I've never done ayahuasca, and at my age and health it is unlikely that i ever will.
If that wasn't the question, then I do rank ayahuasca in the first category of psychedelics/entheogens. I don't pretend my response was typical, but I have had only one truly profound DMT experience and several such on K, even though I took more DMT overall. cn
