Hi everyone,
I'm growing out female seeds c99 in nft, with a large scrog net (2m x 1m).
Plants are flying - I'm probably going to flip in the next 5 days or so... I'm currently looking at choosing a plant to take my cuts from. 3/4 plants are very uniform in all aspects (from seed), the other is about the same size/leaf blade width/etc but is displaying some crazy mutations... Such as 6 leaves coming out of each node, and a side branch for every leaf - and, I would assume, come flower time, more bud sites!
So for every regular node on a vegging plant, where you could expect to find 2 leaves and 2 side branches, there are 6 of each. Some research points to this being a polyploid plant (Hexaploid?).
Does anyone have any experience in growing a polyploid plant to flower? From what I read vegging can be slower (not noticed anything major), THC production greatly increased, with also a possible increase in yield?
Any tips, hints or information would be greatly appreciated!
