Creating the biggest auto roots

So I just had a ponder.

If a auto flowers tap root denotes flowering initiating, would i be right in thinking that a shallow but wide container would create a plant with a large root system (to support lots of flowers) but would induce flowering quickly due to the taproot hitting the bottom of said container.

Not sure if this is common knowledge already but ive not seen it anywhere.

Anybody tried it?

I can tell U this much , the 2 plants here are in different size pots, they were germinated the same time, there the same strain, 1 is in a 40 litre pot , the other a 55 litre pot (square) as U can see the 55 litre pot is doing heaps better, & took a week longer to flower , there both Autopounders by Auto Seeds, ......i cant answer your question , but in this intance , pot size , has made a difference

I done a similar experiment with putting my starter cubes shallower for one auto than another, and then. A third in a different type of pot altogether and had three very different outcomes. Root environment is key with these plants I think.

I seem 2 agree, thats y next time im running airpots & see what happens, apparently , its got sumthing to do with the tap root , hitting the bottom of the pot, & changing its cycle, im like U , i really dont know , but the best grows ive seen , are all in airpots !!

I have a question that is somewhat related. As I was in the process of Lst in the early days of my GSC auto. I ended up developing another root system where the stalk was touching the dirt (cloned itself) anyone else ever have that happen?

Ive used airpots for my soil grow but it was my first and sucked anyway. I used airpots with rockwool croutons and normal pot with the same and airpots definitely weren't as good, but I put that down to them drying out quicker and me not watering them as much. Airpots and coco is probably a really good combo.
