Crimea Blue 2nd Grow.

Started 5 fem Crimea Blue soaking. One cracked in the water, placed the rest in paper towel and two more cracked within 24 hours. Looked at the other two 12 hrs later and one more cracked. The last still looks a bit hard but transplanted from towel to soil
All sitting in Happy Frog in 8 oz. styrofoam cups, covered in plastic wrap. first three radicles are showing and growing. we'll see how the other two go. They're all sitting under 3 27 watt 5500K daylight cfl and 1 40 watt 3000K cfl about 9 inches away. Temp in 2X4X5 is 85-87 degrees F.

2 broke ground today, 2 more are still sprouting, 1 still can't tell if it cracked. Took the plastic wrap off the 2 that popped out. Temp is 82-85 degrees. Humidity is reading at around 50 percent with a humidifier running in the tent. Here's where i may need some advice.... I noticed the two that broke ground appear to have fuzzy radicles.. is this normal?? or has it been so long since I've germinated sees i've forgotten what it looked like...
I've read it is or can be common. If pics are needed I'll post in a few moments if anyone is checking the thread..

here's what they look like today, day four, think one was just a dud or it was personal error, the other has sprouts and of course like i said three broke. Going to add one L.A. Woman i have had soaking since 1 pm, its 10:30, thinking about switching to paper towel before sleep, or maybe morning. it's a very nice, mature seed. anyway here's a few boring pics, and an idea of what i'm working with the lights are 3 27w daylight and one 30w cool white. will add more when needed (SUGGESTIONS WELCOME). also a pic of what i'm working with. AGAIN, feel free to leave any ideas on what you would do in that space on a bit of a limited budget.

Your area is a little small imo for four plants. But then I get up to 7 in 4x4 area atm I have 10. Think I would veg 30 days and get them into flower. keep them small or flower two and keep the other two for moms and clone off them. you can keep a mom going with a few cfls or a 4' tube setup.

think so??? my last grow i had six in there 2 big and 4 small...i plan on lsting em at the least if not topping fim or supercropping..i'll cross that bridge when i come to it ..but you don't think 5 ft with a cool tube is enough room do you??? i've had comments on that .. i thought 4 was being modest. i have plenty of room to do better things but im a renter.. so it fucks me up a bit. Back to the tent. so how would you work with that space.

For some reason I was thinking you were using a 400w. footprint for the 400w is about 3x3. keep the updates flowing.

no but hoping too get the cool tube... that's what im debating over ..going with the hps in such a small space or seeing what a t5 could do for me

looks like i only have 3 out of the 5 Crimea Blue survivors, cultivated the soil in on of my cups and fucked the sprout up. germinated my single L.A. Woman seed and popped her in there with some saran wrap... And then there were four. I think i need a xanax before i work with the girls. it seems like i'm getting a bit too excited and hasty with this grow. I've fucked up 2 perfectly good seeds. Lets see how it goes. added two more 27w daylight cfls .. total 5 27w daylight 1 30wt cool white. under the four cups.. set the L.A. woman in the middle where the light is the least bright to induce a little stretching

lol it happens. Try to remember there just plants. Mostley they grow All by them self. talk about streaching this is my current. I'm just about ready to dump them. Out of 10 5 are male for sure. not sure of the rest yet. They will be 2 months the 15th of feb. I like the 400w mh/hps. the light is about 7" off the tops.

Got a twist to throw into my journal, but first things first.
L.A. Woman broke ground today. took the wrap off of her and added 2 more 27 wt daylights.
Now to the twist.
Got fired or suspended from work today due to my own stupidity.
Working at this job for seven years, everyone knows what i'm all about and what I do for the most part. I work in a kitchen that i stay in through out the shit for the most part and treat it as if it were my own.
Have two bosses. boss one a former criminal turned legit. boss two just a rich drug addict. Very responsible guy, but has an immense taste for coke, pills, and weed.
Boss two asks me to bring in something from the garden nearest and dearest to me. He's aware i'm not a seller, but wants to spend money on something delicious. "No prob, see ya tomorrow." i say, and bring him in about 5gs two different kinds. all i wanted to spare. for him.
Well friends you may guess how the story goes...
at work. look at the clock. realize boss 2 is leaving soon so i need to take care of him. dump out his jar to put it in something more compact when boss one walks in. I'M DOING THIS IN THE OPEN or what im used to as my personal area. he questioned me about what i was doing with "all that" i give an explanation that sounds somewhat legit but i can tell he's fuming, and i tell him i understand. i'm getting it out of the building now.
After wallking out of the kitchen he goes back to the office flipping about what he saw. (he always sees me with weed but 5 gs of great ganja looked like a half ounce to him). while flipping boss 2 says "it's just a little bit i told him to bring in for me"
THIS MADE MATTERS WORSE. I told boss 1 i wasn't selling. THANKS BOSS 2!
so they sent me home said i was suspended or fired possibly and now i'm left to my own devices
JUST FIGURED I'D POST THIS STORY TO SHOW THE SHEER STUPIDITY OF MYSELF
I'm well aware i'm wrong and their decision is validated, then again, they catch people with bundles of heroin,scripts of pills, and whatever else worse than my ganja. BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS I GOT CAUGHT REDHANDED. Literally.
LONG STORY I KNOW. but if my grow jounal starts slacking. it's cause im like the millions of other americans out ther now. unemployed. BY MY OWN FAULT OF COURSE...feel free to tell me how stupid i was.

a little to add to my journal today.. L.A. Woman broke ground with full sprouts, Let me repeat that. SPROUTS. my single LA Woman manage to push out two seedlings. Never heard of it before until doing a bit of research today. also watered the all 4 cups. three crimea blue are looking like seedlings, starting to grow their second set of leaves. Besides that all is on the up and up. OH any advice on the twin plant growth is welcomed. and also FUCK I WRITE TOO MUCH.. i found a little maggot looking creature underneath one of my cups... scared the shit out of me but i've posted Q's about what it might be in the plant problems forum. Same goes for the seed that grew two plants.

From seed.

ok now it's about day ten for the grow ..haven't tweaked anything at all .. raised the lights a little it seems as though one of the seedlings is getting a little too much light (light burn). the small one is my 2 headed L.A. Woman. I think I'm going to feed them 1/4 strength FF Big Bloom. I know it's a weak nute but i think this is a safe measure right?? or is it too early??

I think I would keep it week at this point. Might even hold off a few days. Remember don't over water and you want those lights only a few inches off the plants soon. They are looking good. oh I put mine under the mh at 10 days. only have 4 left. might just scrap the whole thing and work from the clones. I only have one plant that i'm sure is a girl.

yo stumps you mentioned not to over water.. did you say that because of the way the leaves look??? I was thinking the same thing so i held off for a bit on the watering but, my humidity is reading like 20 percent.. and about 24 hours after watering the soil is looking VERY crusty. I've had the same concern with over watering.
yeah get rid of the males, fuck em, start cloning. Thats the mistake i think i made in this grow.. i ordered all fem seeds. I hear they aren't good to clone at all??? I haven't practiced cloning but was hoping to do it for this one. But if the fem seeds are no good, ill just start a batch of bagseed to practice with.

dont fucc it up by feeding it now, fox farm happy frog soil has enough nute to get you goin for a while.. you'll know when their ready.. im here subscribed so just ask.

you can clon female plants fine. they are just like regular female plants..

do not over water. u can let the soil get a lil dry but dont drench it, let the roots breath.. remember moist not wet.

they are fem seeds.. so u are good you dont have to wait and find out if they are males, you will be fine. like i said fem seeds are just regular seeds that came from a plant that self pollinated. your good.. everything else looks ok..
