Hey sorry I didnt see this post. I got a 600watt hps the cheap one and I got a 8 in exhaust fan from htg and I bout duct from a local hydro store make sure you get duct ventalation to, I got for $40 shit gets expensive. But I put the duct from my ac vent to my tent (on left side) put holes in it then I did the exhaust from the right side and it works great I was stressing that too but its good the 400 watt shouldnt be a problem as long as you got ac and exhuast you should be good. Soo hows the smoke? anything new?

totally new to hids.. duct ventilation you mean the silver shit they sell at home depot?? dude i'm not mechanically inclined at all. I'll have a friend help me with it.. but i think i have an idea of how i'll work it. My only concern is height. at some point in the grow i may have to spring for the cool tube.
anways ... i just smoked the very last of the crimea that i had left..

I have more that are two weeks into flowering but i got a bit before i have that kick in the ass high... I've literally grown no tolerance to this bud. I smoke around a joint and a half a day.
I know that sounds like pussy shit, but i am/was a heavy smoker. This stuff is great but it's only for certain situations. like i said before, you can literally go one toke over the line, and end up drooling in front of your boss.
i clipped my LA today due to underfeeding. alot of bud leaves were starting to die off and the humidity at night had me scared shitless of bud rot. It was early for this girl too ... could have gone at least 7-10 days more. here's her main cola.

I think the CB was that good. imo. off each plant i veggged for almost 2 months and yielded about almost an ounce per plant with the 300 some watts of cfl i had. if hps would've been used for flowering i'm sure my yield would've doubled. I lst'd obviously, but if you can... i wouldn't do anything besides top this plant. oh the weight of the LA has yet to be determined.. that was only vegged for 6 weeks..but seems to have yielded a little less .. however the main cola on the LA was alot denser and bigger..
the title of the thread is second grow... i did things wrong. I learned a little bit more.... but all and all I'm a little disappointed with my yields .. but the genetics made up for my mistakes..

I'm trying to be helpful, so please don't be offended if you think I'm stating the obvious,,, When I've germinated in the back I've put the seeds in distilled water for 24hrs, then transplanted and put into soaked stater cubes in a heated propagator which is covered with a towel for a few day's, Mineral water can be bought for about a pound, starter cubes about 5, and a heater propagator for 15, I've always had good results and every seed has germinated,
hey bro i just harvest my cb like 2 1/2 weeks ago and its great but the smell is not there it smells woody still and its dark not that good looking green ldk what's up can you refer to a good harvest thread also i think thats the problem too idk good temps to keep when drying and curing help me. And is yours dark color too?

Yes ..mine was dark also ...hence the blue name ( besides the blueberry) but, my buds came out dark and not as crystalline as the some of the other bud i grew .. but that in no way affected the flavor or high.. you say the smell is woody??? how about after it's broken up or smoked??? and yes i have a great thread by fdd2blk about harvest time and when and when not to pick .... he also has a great method of drying a curing to where he doesnt' let the buds dry out till the stems snap ... he starts curing while they're still a bit moist ..that's always added to my flavor and smell ... but it's a processs ....i'll look for the link my brother ... rep for the finished grow
