<Day 47>
There are a few reasons I have left a week gap between updates. Firstly I havent had access to the nice camera I use and secondly the plants have been loosing alot of leaves and its a bit disheartning to see. So for this post I had to use a normal digital camera, I havent done a great job with the pics.
So yeah alot of leaf loss, I would say the girls have now shed about half of thier leaves. They probably dont look much like the same plants from 1-2 weeks ago. It just kind of freaks me out a little as they are being fed to the best of my abillities.
The CJs are more productive, not by that much but it is noticable. Critical is a definate winner in terms of height. The CJ buds are simply growing at a faster rate and into larger round buds than the more cone shaped critical+ ones. In addition it seems like the C+ is forming a smaller main cola than the CJs.
After doing a scratch and sniff test yesterday I made the following highly subjective notes:
CJ1- lemon, fresh, dry wood (pine perhaps)
CJ2- citrus fruits, sativa(thai), wood
CJ3- lemon, sweet, fruity
C+ - Perfume? floral, citrus
The plants are now really stinking. A heavy dank smell is escaping from my scrubber increasingly every day. I can tell that I woulnt get away with drying this stuff in a dark cuboard - its going to have to be dried in my tent with the scrubber.
A few red hairs here and there so the final bulge is upon us, just over 2 weeks to go. A rough estimate at yeild might be along the lines of 1ounce per plant dried, give or take. I expect this to increase by around 50% over the next two weeks.
