Critical kush (barneys farm)

Looks awesome Budley! Looks like you got a while on her still.

How wide is the plant? It looks more tall than wide but its tough to tell from pic.
It's 8' tall lol. I've got a couple at 10 which is kind of a bad thing for a stealth grow lol. And yes a while still but running out of time as it's getting cold as of yesterday, went from 87 to 60 day temps :(.

Yeah.. im envious of your outdoor capabilities. Im in mass and while indoors is legal now.. based on certain conditions of the law ..i can not grow outdoors, if i understand correctly. So im also familiar with that temp swing you mention. That and the damned humidty swings are wreaking havoc on the two late lemons i have going still. At least the others are all hanging or in jars in a humidity controlled room so im good there. Speaking of which I just had a wood filled with blueberry 12 days cured out ..or at least it feels like i just smoked it. That was over an hour ago.... and its only gonna ripen more!! Love this shit

Next July it is supposedly going to be legal to grow 4 3 metre plants, that wouldnt last me very long lol. We'll see what happens but I'm not thinking it's gonna be a good thing :(.

Gotta wake this thread up. Heres a pic of my girl. Been flowering for 9 weeks. Shes in premier tech potting soil and is flowering in slo mo. I mean real slo. At this rate it will be ready at christmas. Anybody ever have a ck flower 13 weeks. Or is the noob being impatient again. It really is a beautiful plant. Considering it was thrown outside as runt fhen later rescued from the compost pile. Lmao one tough critter. Couldnt resist a couple of pics of the sensi super skunks ready for transplant and 2 autoflower white widows that are hard as hell to grow. Lmao.

Hey all!

Read over this thread a couple of time, fantastic resource! Really hoping to get some direction for those that’ve dialled in Barney’s CK, as it seems theres a pretty strong variation in geno/pheno.

Swim initially germinated 10 Barneys CKs in glass of water at 5.8ph - After 72 hours tap-root became clear and were buried. They all sprouted the following 5-6 days. Now since breaking ground it’s been 17 days, and since first germination it’s been 21 days + the 72 hours in the cup.

Have had lights on 24 hours, under a 700watt viparspectra full spectrum LED; As its has 3 dials for intensity of red, white and blue seperately, I’ve red switched off, or usually just on the first percent of being switched on depending on temp; And have the blue on full, with white as high as possible depending on temp again. In regards to temperature have kept it between 22 C (71.6 F) -> 26 C (79 F) with 50% - 60% RH. Substrate in coco coir x perlite 50/50 mix, while there is more then enough air circulating at this point for the small tent they’re in.

Have run canna a+b from day 1, started with 25% but have since reduced to between 15% - 20%. Introduced 4ml per litre of rhizatonic end of first week.

Just have a few questions, and looking for general recommendations :) !!

Have Identified probably 3 pheno’s with a photo of each attached, have one that’s bit taller, which was the quickest to pop and develop a tap-root, less leaves though; Also have a second large dense that has overtaken the first pheno’s height with leaf growth; And also have a third that isn’t too happy with something that’s being done as had a couple of these that stunt and die off, and couple that are recovering after they’re first set went a few different colours.

Is the purple along the edges of the leaves, and in the middle of the leaves a cal-mag deficiency? Or is it burn? Anyone running canna for seed start? As love to know if cal-mag is being added in.

Also how is the rate of growth? Does it look slow? On a time frame, so going to have to flip these in 26 days. Any comments on when to flip, does it really matter for these babies? As probably flip the top 6 or 7 to go under 2 x 1200watt Mars Hydro LED with a 400 watt HPS. Estimated output?

Any comment/input would be greatly appreciated <3 #1 Day 21 Top.jpg #1 Day 21 Side.jpg
Much love (:

Just tossed 6 Barneys Critical Kush seeds in water. 4 popped in 48 hours. The 2 light colored ones did not pop as expected. Put them all In a damp paper towel and tossed that into a dark cabinet. I'll be running these in a 4x4. Looking for a keeper to run as an sog in the future. When the tap roots start to stretch I'll pull them out of the paper towel and grab a couple of pics.

The seedlings are all shooting tap roots. Even the 2 I thought wouldn't. 6 of 6. Tossed the last 4 from the pack into some water. Gonna just run the whole pack and look for a keeper. Using floraflex potpro kits with coco. Watered with 1/4 strength nutes and added a little shot of mammoth in the water. P.h'd at 5.88. Sprinkled a little great white mycorrhizae into the hole and on the tap root and tossed them into the 5x5 with the hlg600. I'll be hand watering for now.

Day 29 of flower. 9 of 9 still rockin and rolling. I hope for a lb minimum and hopefully I find a keeper pheno with this run. I will say I like the coco coir but it dries out so fast I definitely will be running rockwool again next run. I also noticed the floraflex low retention rockwool dries a lot faster than the grodan rockwool. I'll probably do 1 more trimming in a other week on the lowers. Feeding around 1200 ppms a d 5.8 p.h. this te t is under lit.

Went with CK for my first grow. Here she is 36 days into flower.

20190913_225920.png

7 gallon RDWC (18 gallons total) in 2x2x4 tent lit with an HLG 135 RSPEC QB. Already sticky and stinky as hell. :)

PPM is 900 with GH trio, calmag, silica, and hydroguard. I was seeing some nute burn at anything above that. I might try bumping it up again since the burn may have been from ramping up too fast.

Let’s get this thread lively again. Starting my second load of critical Kush in next few days. 6 weeks into flower on my current critical Kush, 7x660w HPS grow. Will upload pics + harvest soon.

On the beginning of week 5 of flower, grown using dr. Earth dry amendments. All 6 CK's under a 630w geekbeast pro in 7 gal fabric pots.
