Critique my Room Plz

What can I do to improve the design setup? I have here a 3x3 room. The smaller one box there is my vegging/mother box. Now I wish I had built it taller before. What do you guys think? I currently have 3 5 gal plants in there. 1 chocolope, 1 mango, and 1 g13 Buddha

I was thinking about doing a ScoG, Doing a SoG seems to be more trouble, as theres that many more plants. Whats your thoughts?

Im wondering how I should use the space above the vegging room. Being able to use the entire area in there efficiently

I had the light like that orginally, and the whole room was plants. But I like to have a semi perpetual grow, so I built the mothering box. Once that was in place, half of the light was over the box itself, so I repositioned it like that over the 3 plants.

Here is a pic of the old setup. I left the light was place inefficiently once i added the box

Oh, they are already in flower already for about a week. There is a ocilating fan there, the tower fan.

I have mylar, but it seems to be too much hassle. Seems like just flat white paint is the way to go. I read that mylar is 95% recflective, and white paint is 90% which is good enough for me

Unless your room stays too cool, having the air duct before the light insulated is counterproductive. It would actually help to cool the room if it wasn't. All in all, it looks very nice. I'd do the SOG thing like GrowTech said, and use the extra area you were talking about for cloning.

aero, what do you mean by " having the air duct before the light insulated is counterproductive." Im confused by how that works.

THe only thing Im a little bit concerned about with a ScoG design is seperating out the strains :P Wont each of the buds grow into each other? Makes it hard for me to identify when I harvest.

Anyone have suggestions on what I should with the left half of the room above the cloning/mother cab?

Maybe Ill create a huge screen across the entire room 1 foot above the veg cab, and have the plants grow to the left...

OR, what if I created a L shaped screen, how well would that work?

It's minimal, but having uninsulated ducting before your hood will help draw off some of the heat from the room. I know it helped on one of my boxes. Having the insulation after the hood is definitely smart to keep that heat from being transferred to the room. But shit, if you're not having temp problems, it doesn't even matter.

Ooh, I see what your saying. THe main reason im using insulated duct is for sound dampening. My rooms near the living room, so sound matters alot

LOL, so check this out:

Ya know what I was saying about the in lines not being insulated? I accidentally left a couple site holes open in my aero system overnight. The humidity in the box shot to 99% and the intake ducting started condensating like an air conditioner. Water was literally dripping onto the plants. So, I regretfully retract that statement, your idea was better :) (though it does show the extent that my theory functioned)

cloning room would be a good idea/partial veg room. or supplies and such to get as much floor space as possible
