I got 2 holes in my grow box. One at bottom and one at top. The top hole is connected via 3" flexihose_available at Home Depot_to an inline heating duct fan_also available at HD.
The lower hole is also connected with the same flexihose but not connected to anything. The hose is just lying there.
Now, I've taken the upper hose and extended it up approx 2' above the box_much like a chimney (in fact that is what it is). My grow box is on a table_30" above the floor. With the lower flexihose, coming down from the grow box and kinda spread out on the floor like a snake.
By doing this, I've created a strong potential for the hot air inside of the grow to be sucked up the chimney_I've helped the suction by connecting the inline duct fan to the end of the chimney. With the 'snake' on the floor so close to the cool air, it is only natural for the 'convective' flow of the air to keep the grow space under control.
Also, if you put a few bends_say 20° or so_then the light cannot penetrate but the air can move around.
Sorry for the long post.
