I am growing outdoors and it just popped into my head about animals messing with my stuff. Am i gonna have to worry about deer, rabbits, or any kind of bug messing with my plant? Also i know when you grow indoors you get gnats and stuff. Since i am growing outdoors do i still get that problem or is it a nonissue outdoors?

You are going to have to worry about a lot more things eating your plants outside lol! And dude with ants, unless you have carpenter ants don't worry about it.

That would be a yes, anything outside that can eat your plant is most likely going to try to eat it Ive even had box turtles eat leaves.

deer, rabbits, moles, mice, rats, domestic pets, a whole slew of insects. too many things to count but also take in mind that lots of people plant outdoors and have successful grows:) Peace

Not much you can do about birds, don't know why birds would screw with your plants unless they are just scratching in your soil looking for bugs.
