Not true - the "OG" dude was was asking about was Overgrow - a forum similar to this. As far as the "OG" you're thinking of, such as OG Kush, etc etc, that's referring to "Ocean Grown"; as in grown close to the ocean.

OG stands for Organically Grown

Hops has Male & Female. It is not typically grown from seed, but apparently can be. If you want a male, go to your local garden center and get a garden variety Hops of unknown origin. 1/3 of mine from a garden center are male. If you want a prime, known strain Female one of the few [if not only] places to score one is >>>> http://www.freshops.com/ <<<< They have a couple dozen strains. The rhizome they send you is about as big as your index finger. It takes a couple years to establish a modest plant, and a few years before it goes buck wild.

If you cultivate, or screw around with Hops be aware of LEAF SEPTORA. Dont bring a septora infected hops in your grow space, and for good measure wash your hands after handling Hops. Regardless of the health of the Hops plant.. its just good practice.

ALSO Hops are TOXIC to dogs. Especially Sight Hounds, Greyhounds in particular. In general, dogs have no interest in the Hops plant. Its bitter smelling, nasty and uninteresting. The problem people have is if they are a homebrewer, and give spent wort to thier dogs. Spent Hops coated with Yummy, sweet, sticky, scrumdiddlyumptious wort ARE interesting and yummy to Dogs.

I've never had Heineken in America that didn't taste unpleasantly skunky and if that's what they wanted it to taste like then i would rather not drink it @ all.
Gin and juice is my favorite alcoholic beverage(ofc. no hops in it though)

They do it with grape vines for wine, and fruit trees. Splicing a fruit tree.

my first marijuana history/grow book was "a child's garden of grass" back in the early 70s. it talked about grafting hops and pot. it also said to take the whole plant, roots and all, and hang it upside down so the thc can flow out of the roots.

To answer the question... no. The US government tried dirring WWII to do that exactly in order to create THC-free hemp plants that could be grown in the US without "drug concerns." The plants can be grafted onto one another but the results are worthless and the genetics simply can't be bred together... god would that be hot, canna-beer and it would be legal, :sigh:
LOL... Go smoke a pound of industrial hemp and tell me how high you get :P

Heineken taste like piss. Stella taste like seasonal piss available year round. Just sayin'

grafting doesn't change genetics.

I commented to someone their plant looked like Duck's Foot they said it wasn't that it was bred in Germany, and that IT was the original Webbed leaf cannabis. Upon further research I find webbed leaves occur where plants get excessive amounts of sunlight and dry weather (this is not the Germany I know) But What these folk over at Kalyseeds claim to have crossbred Japanese hops and Cannabis Sativa, They"re getting all kinds of different leaf formations. Some similar to wally duck's Duck Foot(Australian), Hawaiian Webbed Indica or Frisian Duck. Others with single leaf formation similar to some single leaf mutations... I've only been able to find information in German and some in Spanish they call It P.A.C Pseudo Arce Cannabis. Any thoughts? 19041254580769804_big.jpg swag1.jpg

Beer is a fermented beverage where the majority of the sugars come from cereal grains - usually barley. If you juiced cannabis and fermented it, it would not be considered beer.

A rumor a heard a few years ago is that its been done and that its that shit they sale in high times as legeal weed
Gotta call horse dung on that'n. If that was the case, the 'legal weed' would have THC from the cannabis, or else why bother breeding cannabis to the hops. If it had THC it would be illegal. All I've ever heard about those nasty fake weed products is that they are made with Chinese research chemicals.

BuzzFeed and Snopes are looking to fact check this controversy from their parent's basement.

Why is ocean grown significant and worth knowing?
