I did something this year, been shy to share, but here it goes!
I ended up with some peanut butter breath seeds in a bag I grabbed around 3 years ago, been holding them ever since. I tried growing one around a year ago, it was a hermied mess so I tossed it. However I kept some pollen and chucked it at the best Dinafem Ocean Grown Cookies pheno I have (greasy, lemony). After harvesting, I ended up with a bunch of white, underdeveloped seeds and few viable looking seeds. I decided I’d call this cross “Runner’s High” because I run a lot, and love the feeling of runner’s high. Anyway, I finished the harvest on my Runner’s High v1 plant and the smoke is amazing! As you’ll see here, the nugs are absolutely puny lol, but each of these tiny gems can roll a medium - large joint and the terps and taste are very strong. Doesn’t smell or taste like peanuts or peanut butter, at all, but certainly looks like PBB! The smell and taste is like a very floral OG Kush, candy, hashy taste on the exhale. I’m quite pleased as I was expecting the worst. The yield was 4.8oz dry from this plant alone! I’m currently running v2 and v3 now, the final remaining viable seeds. I’ll update in around 80 days when the buds are ready to smoke. Thanks for checking out this post, I’d love to hear what you all think
Sidenote: the stalk turned completely purple after I chopped, never seen this before. The purple pigment can rub off and stain anything in its path
