Crossing a Mexican Sativa with a Fancy Hybrid, what to expect?

So, I'm living in Mexico and tired of ordering seeds from Europe. I actually like very much the Mexican sativa buds with seeds I get here in Mexico, I love the sativa high, but sometimes I want variety, plus I'm getting lots of problems germinating imported seeds, plus wasted money.

One of the things I want to smoke is choco-flavored weed, like the ones I smoked in a Barcelona club called 'Choko'.

Anyways, I just ordered 'Choko Candy' by Zamneza, it is supposed to have a lot of chocolate flavor and to be mostly sativa, but they only offer feminized and I got 3 seeds.

What would happen if I polinize one of the choko candy plants with a Mexican sativa (might be landrace, don't know but 80% of the weed you get in Mexico seems to be the same strain) from here?
What can I expect to obtain? It would be great if I could at least keep the chocolate flavor.

You can expect to get a cross. It's not really possible to say what you'll end up with. That Choko Candy has Chocolate Thai, Cannalope, Mexican, and some other stuff in it's lineage. You'll end up with many different plants. However, it's probably safe to say that they will be very sativa dominant. I say cross them and grow out the seeds.

actually i would....would be a killer experiment overall....

would be a heavy sativa dom though.....flower expectancy would be longer 10 weeks plus i would imagine....

Yeah right? I would get something worth keeping from them anyways

You'd likely end up with something just as good as what you could buy from a seed bank. Cross them and make your own seeds instead of buying them.

Why not cross it with a heavy indica? something like a hashplant , Bubba kush, or a good Northern Lights? Mexican sativa x with a good heavy Afghani are what some legends are made of.

By applying silver thiosulfate or colloidal silver to a clone of your best choko candy female you can induce it to produce pollen. You can use that to pollinate itself, a different choko candy female, or a mexican sativa female. Or all three! This is how feminized seeds are made, so all your seeds will be female too. Who knows what you'll find!

Southern Mex sativa's ... Seem much better then the bulk Northern mass produced shit.

You say seeded right?

Take the male from the seeds from the best plant or bud of what you felt was most powerful/best buzz.

Transfer of potency in breeding, comes mostly from the male to the female....

Good luck! I would try it.
