I think that if the medical cannabis community wants to be taken seriously, they need to clean up their act a bit. Naming your school after a city that is known for recreational drug use of all kinds is probably not the best way to be legitimized in the eyes of those who need to be convinced.
Maybe it's time we put the "stonerizms" and tye-dye behind us and start to act like medical professionals if that's what we want to be recognized as.
You see! You see what you said?
Commercial interests are seperate from legalizing for the people. We can seperate these things. Make it legal for everyone and still keep it illegal to sell.
BUT with the Money First approach we are keeping it illegal to degree yet allow sales. The Money first approach tries to keep the price high and keep it semi-illegal to do that.
Remember It's a plant we must be free to grow before we can make money. The Cart and the Horse.. Some want to get rid of the Horse alltogether and make the cart motorized. No need for it to be legal at all only legal to sell.
So are we there yet? Are we simply waiting to Lose in 2012 before we ignore this truth yet another election cycle?
