Crystal's on buds

Hi all
First grow, doing it under cfl's. Buds are growing good and plant is super healthy but no crystal forming yet. Been in flower around 5 weeks. Have a mate who put same strain into flower at same time, his buds are smaller but he has crystal all over his plant. Our grow conditions are slightly different (same lights I just have more airflow) but would have thought we would be seeing the same thing. Any input appreciated.

I had the same issue with my first grow and with my 2nd grow i just feed more PK seems to work but honestly Idk. Cant suggest it incase of overfeeding. For that grow i ran fox farm trio but instead of tiger bloom i mostly used aurora bloom but since i ran out i run AN on it now

Usually i see mine getting frosty after that stage so maybr it just too early?

Same strain, different plants, different phenos. Unless you are running clones, you'll have different characteristics between the 2. Don't worry about it. Looks good. It'll frost up soon.

Some strains show trichomes right away in flower, others wait longer to produce them. I would say it's genetic and be patient.

I see crystal on those leaves just not very noticable at the moment.

Weed likes fresh air but not wind as a set point just incase your too windy and he is more in line with environment.

Definitely not windy. Have 4" fan supply to flower and 6" exhaust doing both veg and flower cabinet. No noticeable breeze in cabinet at all I will hurry up and wait. Cheers guys.

Yeah I'm stuck with cfl's for now so expecting a long flower
