I tend to remove the helmets carefully with tweezers, but I usually give them a day or two first to try to wriggle out on their own. Mist spray them with water to soften the shell up. But if that doesn't work, they get tweezed off. Seems to be mostly strain-dependent ime.
Two of my 3 phenos here, waiting on the third to trim and get a photo. Slept on cross for sure! The pheno of the middle pic didn't clone worth a damn on two attempts. Reveging as she was the easiest to trim, dripping in trichome goodness and heavy producer. The uglier bud puts down in terps what it lacks in appearance and is a body melter. It grew viney as hell and a bitch to trim with avg yield, not nearly as low as the tkxirene but that's some special stuff.

Watch out for nanners, pick em as they come and let it grow. The prettiest lady was heavy on the balls and nanners week 3-4 but nothing after that. If it's got balls flower the clone and make your judgement there as bro science told me clone less likely to herm

Taking a whack at Big Bad Wolf 2.0... I hear the chems tend to devour themselves in flower. I'm here on day 34 since flip and looks like these girls are struggling or maybe this is the nature of the beast. What size pot you running? The soil could have been a good mix the plants just outgrew their root mass, thus running out of gas in flower. I'm an organic dude so I would just water with teas or some molasses once or twice before the end of flower. Dont freak out and reach for the liquid nutes it'll probably take too long to absorb and make the smoke harsh. Just my 2 cents

I'm in 5 gallon pots. Next grow I will go back to salts because now I understand now that it is very hard for me to keep an organic grow in but a 5 gallon pot of medium

Here it is, just about to start making bud sites.
I also started a couple of Lil Red Riding Hood, and a whole pack of 91's, only one come up though, so ill be ordering more of those. Since those didnt work out, I put all 7 Loompas HB x TK in dirt a couple days ago, hopefully at least 5 of this break through

If you have any chelated salts I’d use them to get back on track. They’re plant available and will be able to be uptaken immediately. I like organic too, but at this stage you’ll likely be chasing your tail getting to the finish line. Chelated iron, compost tea, some type of bloom booster and then see.

More likely the grower than the seeds man, for such a finicky plant it’s highly unlikely every grower talking shit has actually kept the plant happy
