Cure For Cancer

so when you say oil, you mean hash oil?! as in when I soak bud in everclear for several days and then evaporate off the alc hash oil?! I had heard indica's are better for this (against cancer) do you know if thats true, or will both sativa and indica strains produce the desired result? We are starting a garden here, not just mj, but food and herbs to be used as medicine, so I know after this crop I'll be adding hash oil to the medicine cabinet just in case, hell cancer killed off a large number of my family, and took my wifes mother, so I'd just as soon be keeping some on hand just in case....

7 days!! With naphtha you shouldn't stir for more than 3 minutes or you start extracting the nasties (chlorophyll etc). Is everclear any different? What about the 99% Isopropyl Alcohol?

never stirred it that long, I just put the material in a jar, cover it with a little over with the everclear, seal up and put in fridge for about 3 days, filter out the plant matter, and put in a dish to evaporate the alc off...I don't do more than that because having done both, I didn't notice a significant difference in potency. I also only do one time, some people soak the matter 3 time, but all 2nd and 3rd do imo is dilute the overall product. it'll make more, but I stick with the first run, the most potent... I wont use Iso, but there are people that swear by it, we had a whole thread on it somewhere in the great sea of threads...

smoking is a mixture of cannabinoids that kill most cancer, and carcinogens . . . if you smoke, you're only allowing cannabis resistent cancer to survive in your lungs . . . . theoretically you're killing all cancer not resistent to cannabis, but if you ever get lung cancer, theoreteically cannabis wont be able to cure it do to constant exposure to cannabinoids + carcinogens . . . so yeah I'd stop smoking entirely if I were you and actually worried about that.

okay guys, i have some more info... you don't need to necessarily make the oil, you can make edibles with the hemp such as cookies or brownies and they still contain nearly as much thc as the oil itself. But ofcourse the oil is always better since it's concentrated.

My point is Big Tobacco (a bunch of little guys, and a few big guys - like us) were always looking out for the consumers. They always led innovations to make things "safer". The same innovations we rely on today. Big Govt and Big Pharma have taken that over. They've killed our economy with it, and now we're about to give them ABSOLUTE control of cannabis.

Nobody knows what they believe anymore about the hazards of "smoking". We've only been "smoking" tobacco, easy to point figers then huh? So they hushed them up for 20 years now they're about to cram a bunch of shit down out throat with the other plant we all loved. Expect Fire Safe Joints in the not so distant future, since we all love to smoke Carpet Glue.

I'm seriously about ready to move off grid. Vote No on 19.

You are totally taking this the wrong way. Smoking is bad, I agree. It also causes cancer. We've known that since 1700s when people smoked Opium, Tobacco, Hemp, Everything.

We only need scientists to tell us there is a Cure. Well gee, that's a miracle drug if you can both Smoke it, and freebase it to cure cancer. Guess who has a monopoly on it? Not Us. I'm being a realist. There have been rumors that this had benefits to cancer for ages.... It's probably true. But is it really any surprise we only find out now? Right after the FDA finally got a grip on Tobacco, and CA is ready to Double Tax MJ? Repeat of 1990?

My old man works in tobacco, he's a mechanic, he knows the blueprints, and the factory. For years he has said if any "chemcials" were going into cigarettes, they were coming from the Paper or Menthol, both Gov approved. No big surprise then when we have FSC laws getting forced on ALL tobacco products, yet Menthol cigarettes weren't banned under "flavors"? Don't you think if the Government made them go All Natural, like they used to be, the cancer rates might just drop?
