I would cure in the jar for a week or 2 then grind. Then back to the jar.

lol thats funny, its been dry and curing for 11 days, my little bro said it is best to grind it up when its still pretty wet even. i knew i was right! lol. now maybe he'll shutup and stop trying to argue so much about how "great" it would be. i said the same thing as bud frosty up there. oh well,

I honestly don't think it matters. I personally wouldn't want a jar of something that looks like shake. Why Is this an issue? Just grind b4 u smoke.

I agree trying to grind weed when its wet sucks it all sticks to the teeth of the grinder. Id say let it properly dry and just grind before smoking it too.

it was a theory, my brother thought of it and says its a faster better easier cure. i told him he should wait till its dry iafter a couple weeks of curing since i couldnt talk him out of trying it.

Growing dope is about patience.... It doesn't happen over night.
Your problem is that you have gone through the growing process and just want to smoke it....
Just wait it out, be patient and allow it to cure the way everyone here suggests. With all these threads an posts, do you think your question hasn't been asked before?

Don't rush the final process. Grinding whilst wet is a pain and will also dislodge those juicy trichs.
BE PATIENT. You've waited months growing it, give at least a month to dry / cure properly. air dry => paper bag => sealed jars => grind and smoke some finely cured bud and be proud of your red eyes and dumb smile

lol, i dont think you were paying attention.......i agree with you guys i asked so i can show my little brother its bullshit since he says im wrong and he's right. i dont use a grinder period but he got one and is touting it as the best thing since the joint was invented. he was talking about grinding it right after harvest while wet and i told him if he INSISTS on trying it to wait a few weeks till its dry and the screen can do its job and collect crystals not turn into a big wet mess of bud that will probally mold and/or rot on him. im refering to my actual 19 yr old brother, not myself just trying to be stealthy online. he said he didnt believe me cuz i never did it so i asked y'all for your thoughts to back me up....thanks for so many good responses guys! +rep for all lol

I think it'd b a longer cure cuz having semi wet ground plant material sitting in a jar, when u burp the jar you're not letting the air get to the ground up bud except for the top layer. You're trapping moisture inside and mold is now more likely to hit ur stash.
I think if you grind it first,then jar it. Wouldn't it dry out completely. Like into dust. More surface area and all. Don't think it would keep to long either.
I hate weed that's too dry, when you break it up it turns to dust. I'm personally going to keep leave my buds fairly big when leaving them in a jar. I wouldn't think of grinding it first.
But everyone has there own tastes i suppose.
