Curing ,but have hay smell

I am Curing ,but have hay smell. I dried it, put in jars ,opened every day for 3 weeks, put in plastic bag and put in closet for 3 weeks and now smells worse then it did before I put in bag for 3 the weeks..HELP

You should be dried enough by now that its not going to mold. Lock em up and leave em for a month. They may get better with time. Ive done it and it works. If not, make shatter or brownies. If you want to get floored, like really floored make brownies. That hay bud will become the most potent buzz youve ever had.

Hay ...! is not properly dried, snap a stem on the bud, it should crack like a chicken leg, loud and short ...thats dried
examine closely and consider continuing to dry it ...theres no real hurry
and avoid storing in plastic ..use paper, or a glass jar
best is a cigar humidor ...lol

you either pulled the plant too early (it wasn't finished most growers have this problem) or dried it to quick

I let my plants hang for 7-10 days... then its in a bag until smoked or sold

I keep my buds in a ziplock in the freezer...locks it in at the point you freeze it

I have some smelly buds too

Hey smell is the chorophyll leaving the buds it's part of the curing process just keep doing what ur doing its quiet normal that nice bud smell will return when it cured long enough

True, but he said its been a couple weeks. Also i've found that if genetics are good then it will atleast have a FAINT smell as soon as it dries out. Atleast mine does

mine smelled like grass for a full 2 months before it went away. Smells beautiful now.

I call B.S. :)

Not ALL WEED.....I grow Exodus Cheese, Pre98 Bubba, ECSD, C-4,..... there is no hay smell ever... I don't ever jar cure either.

Most of the time... the grower took down the flowering plant to soon

Man that EXO smells the entire house with filtration

Maybe if u manicured the fck outa it. It's not bullshit man chorophyll is present maybe ur buds r just super stinky ...so your saying the scent never changed?
Tho saying that I had some mates who all had this weed unknown strain cause we in Aussie and strain is hard to know unless u order seed which most don't anyway he would grow in back shed good 50 metres from the street u could smell the shit from the road and it never changed smell u could have it in 2 zip lock bags and a jar and I swear it still stunk like fck
