Curing humidity range?

how long has the jar been sealed? might take a minute to get up...?
but more likely,do you have any other hygrometer to put in there?
i bought those same hygrometers off amazon cheap came in a 5 pack... set them up on arival on my table next to two analog and one trusted digital hygrometers and all 5 out of the pack were way off in moisture and heat..

but you may have just dried it too much time will tell

I use a dozen of those things swapping them out and take the average number lol

They are fairly accurate but you have to stabalize them - direct light effects their usage and anything behind the screen as it's mean to be mounted into the wall

The buds aren’t crumbly. They are still getting stuck together. Maybe just good weed lol. Ima toss some Bovita packs in anyways. At least to keep the moisture in the jar up

If your climates RH is higher you can open the jar allowing moisture inside, and re-sealing at the ideal number. However if the bud is too dry it's just too dry. The same is true conversely so whchever lends itself to u.

When did you jar it? I would still try to break a bud open - or two; if it isn't overly dry this will help stimulate the processes that you are seeking

+1 for using trim, and or cut branching from the plant will help best in the jar.

Or.. orange peels.. the stems from bananas..

maybe even put the bud in a room with a humidifier?

The bud has been jarred for a few days now. Smells great, isn’t crumbly. Just humidity reads 50%. Seems more to me personally. I’ll try to bovita packs and see what they do. I know it’s supposed to raise humidity. I don’t want to put anything in like orange peels or lettuce that can possibly affect the flavor of the buds.

while the texture will feel "wetter" adding moisture back to the jar is pointless at this stage. your really trying to capture the ethylene that is produced as the plant "ripens" or" decomposes "when cut down, there is an organic process that occurs to breakdown the chlorophyll and that only happens when the moisture content in the leaves is still "fresh" . once dried, chlorophyll is trapped in the leaf forever , either way its not going to be perfect your first run. don't get discouraged keep trying
