Curing In Jar But Still VERY DRYY...Tips Please

if you put in the bread, o peel, apple, moist p. towel, or anything you wish overnite it will be moist in the am!!!! Take it out seal the jar and it should stay moist. I can imagine old food would create mold that makes perfect sencebut it should not be needed long enough to mold?

:roll:You dont want og kush and purple erkle to smell like vanilla. Also just because the food doesnt rot in the bag doesnt mean it didnt transfer more than water wich in turn will turn the buds to nasty ass shwag if stored for long periods of time. Just because you did it on an 8th and smoked it before it went bad doesnt mean it is a good method. SO STFU AND QUIT TELLING PEOPLE TO USE FOOD. PEOPLE WHO GROW GOOD WEED WANT THE NATRUAL FLAVOR AND SMELL NOT SOME FAKE ASS SMELL THAT LAST FOR 2-3 WEEKS TOPS THEN STARTS TO GO BAD.:roll:

ok buddy i didnt even start the food thing but because you seem like the expert here ill let you take over. I am just telling people they can if they want and i would continue to tell them that. I would use a q- tip taped to the top of my jar with moisture added to it but i still would not leave it their for any extended lenghth of time one the bud is moistened it should stay that way in a sealed jar. Not that i have never used a piece of fruit or just put a few drops of water and shake.

The best part for me is pissing off a know it all like you :) :) :)

On a serious note....it is simply common sense. Think about what the buds lost to become too dry.....WATER. So doesnt it make the most SENSE to add what the buds lost? I dont like the fruit or veg. idea not only from trying it when i was probably 19-20yrs but mainly because i like the natural taste/smell of the different strains. Why ruin it with artificial flavors from fruit or vanilla.......

Why the fuck not? I love the hint of vanilla. I've had weed curing in my jars for 9 months, no sign of mold yet! :hump:

just add a small piece of orange peel to the jar and then seal it up till the next day and check them. they should be alot better and you can determine whether there done curing and ready for storage. peace and happy token!

its because you open your jar at night this allows all the moisture that would biuld up from the cold night temp to excape.. only open your jars once or twice a day for a minute or two,, while doing this move the drier nuggs to the middle or bottom and moist nugs to the outside of the jar or top.. its all about the airflow (or lack of flow while curing in jars)

lol Thats all anyone had to say..he just said he is leavin the jar open at night. Keep the jar closed all the time and just "burp it", as people like to call it. Lets not let something like fruit come between us brothers lol
