Curing methods

Hey I have read many curing methods however i cannot decide which I should use. Can someone please post the best method to cure my buds? There about a week away from harvest. I dont wanna rot my first batch .

well the best way is to put it in a jar with a lid and in a dark place with the same temp all th time then you need to burp the jar wif some air in their roll the buds so they dry evenly. but this takes along time

I've never cured bud myself but done plenty of study on the matter. Anyone correct me if im wrong but the idea is to cut them down and hang the buds upside down in a nice dry dark place until it gets dryer on the outside but still kinda bendy at the stem...but not too moist. Once you are done there cut the buds down to size and toss them in some mason jars with the hermetic sealed lid. Open them once a day or so for about 30 minutes and put the lid back on. Buds will be stellar after a month, the longer they cure, the better they get. I heard Arjan (the breeder at greenhouse seeds) say that they were using the jar method and letting this certain crop go 5 months in cure, just to get it ready for the Cannabis Cup =)
