A tablespoon per gallon..... Yeap, sure can add it right to the water.. But really, I rave on the wick system for a reason... I used to grow in soil and would always worry that I was over watering or over ferting... And would end up starving the plants or always keeping them slightly under watered. Then I tried wicks.... From there I went and bought 2 water farms and ran soil beside them.... The next grow, I eliminated the soil... Lol!
wicks are great.... Just jam a couple clothesline ropes into the drain holes.. The more you jam into it, the more water is wicked up... This is how you control the rate of watering on it.
