Curing weed not getting moist on outisde.

Whats up everyone got some Og kush in the jars right now I took them off the drying racks when the stems still had some flex but the buds are crisp Now here is my dilemma. I put them in airtight jars for a week now and the outside still hasent moistened back up Ive read simons guide on curing and I have the humidity stable at 65% RH the inside is gummy and smells dank when broken up but the outside smells like chlorophyll how long does it take for the outside of the bud to get moist so the smell becomes more relevant. Really need some expert advice in this harvested when all trichomes were cloudy.

I don't like racks unless its for popcorn n larf. I do sometimes dry the long branches intact without the fans, but then again why not hang? Try a Boveda 62% pack for a week or two, it should work I tried it with these popcorn n larf and it went from crispy to good to proper stinky and is now smoking really well, plus its just for me and I'm not overly fussed! I also think drying in a room where humidity raises and lowers (fluctuates) causes this crispy edge dilemma... I fucking hate buying crispy edged hay smelling weed, it feels like I've been robbed!

Sorry I just said racks i hung dry upside down for 5 days and its indoor and its been in the jars for a week. I usually use bovedas to re mositen it back up but it dosent seem to be working.

If its over dry i give it a quick, light squirt of water from a sprayer, then add the bovida pack the next day after im sure its not too moist.
But with a five day hang and a week cure on indoor you should be close. Probably a week more and you should be ready. Sometimes outdoor will take longer to cure than indoor. The smell should mellow with time and if it isnt done in another week, just wait longer. Are you sure you took it when it was ripe or could it have been early? It also could just be a plant that doesnt smell much.

Thanks for the reply. I got the cut from a dispensary and It smells very good when broken up dank skunky smell overtakes the room however on the outside of the bud its just dry and smells like chlorophyll so im unsure if its genetics due to smell im getting when i break it up. I live in Nevada in a dry climate and it dosent get above 20 percent RH Ive ran into this issue with previous grows i can almost feel the problem is the outside gets to dry but the inside is perfect its got me a little stumped. Do you think that even though my RH is reading 66% that I still have not enough moisture?

New Mexico Medical Marijuana. Somebody is growing some real bullshit down here. Grew up on a ranch and hay is the first thing I thought of when my buddy showed me what they delivered to him. Sorry trim job and a shit taste.

Luckily I dumped her on my poor twin bruvva 12 years ago, like them Armish lol! He suffered enough m8 but on his death bed he said "look after her for me r kid" fackin hell she were trying to get in me pants day after his funeral the fillthhy sllarrggg! Anyway my new model is much less feisty and only 37 so might have a few good year in her yet :hump:

Help! First time grow. Plants are trimmed and hanging upside down indoors to dry. When is it time to cure? How will I know the buds are ready for cure?

ok so i just got my boveda packs ... not sure if i got the right size ... 62% 8 gram packs.... do i add these from day one or once my jar gets to 62 percent?
