Curing enhances taste, flavor, and smoke in a HUGE way, not just a little bit.

HUGE.

My rule is 2 weeks minimum, and don't even think about smoking any before then. The longer you cure, the better the product... to a point of course. :)

Every time you crack a jar open you'll be able to smell a difference from last time...

I think I read one time that the nugs that get submitted to the cups are cured for like 6 months?

GB says one month is ideal... over 2 months it can degrade. I am quite happy after 1-2 weeks. Make sure before you start jarring it gets dry and crispy on the outside, the stems shold be britle but not snap (IMO) then jarred one day, then left out for 12 hrs then jarred and open daily for a few hours. Thats what I do and it works great.

Should be like 150-200 grams dry.

Hello,

Curing add flavor and give a better product overall.

Curing should take between 2weeks to 1-4 months. Anything between 2 weeks and 1 month will be enough to give you a nice product. Extending the cure length will indeed add flavor and give a little bonus to the product but if you are not able to wait that long to either smoke or give the product to your patient you can go with a faster cure.

The ratio of Wet/Dry weight can on your drying method and strains as well but with an average method it should give you anything around half the weight or a little under. Some strains will give you a little above average.

Hope it helped you

Have a nice day

it all really depends on your plant what will happen in curing. my purple bubba kush doesn't smell like much when I harvest it, and it starts to almost smell like hay when it dries, but a day curing in a jar and it smells really citrusy like fruity pebbles. After a week it's ready to smoke, tastes great, nice and smooth. So it all really depends on your plants and the density of your nug for how long to cure it.

Loosely packed. You want some air circulation.
I agree 100% you should NEVER pack the buds in, you always want to leave a good amount of room in the jars so air can escape. If it is packed too tight there is a good chance that moisure can accumulate in parts of the jar leading to mold.
