i watered my girls last night with ph’d water at 6.8-7.0 but my ph pen was offf and I recalibrated it after I noticed it was jumping around on my second bottle of water is this caused by bad ph ???Should I wait for next watering to correct it ?? I’m using ocean forest and happy frog soil mix with perlite,I ain’t giving them any nutes and I noticed that they are a little nitrogen toxicity in there as well but I just figured the ocean forest is a little hot... Any ideas???? Thanks all for the response and help ahead of time....

There's no need to correct for the incorrect water ph, the soil has already buffered it to the soil ph level. Just keep her on water only for now. I don't find that ocean forest has enough cal/mag in it so that should be in your water.

Ocean forest with happy frog mix so I should still put some cal/mag????Would the bad ph cause the plant to do that ?? I have never seen it happen before

Happy frog doesn't have a whole lot of nutrients in it. I add some lime and crushed oyster shells to OC and also a teaspoon of liquid cal/mag in my ro water to make sure I have enough. Been about 5 years since I've used Fox Farm soils so maybe someone with more recent experience can jump in. I'm assuming their mix hasn't changed, but I don't know that. Good luck!

Its because you just watered and it looks like it was prob a little more than your lady wanted/needed. I wouldnt try to change anyhing other than how much water you are putting in the dirt. I have a picture on my phone of one of my girls heavily overwatered at the begin of flush if youd like to see it next to the same girl on a normal water day.

10-4 I used 2 1/2 gallons between all of them so maybe it was too much 5 3 gal pots and 1- 2 gal

slight PH issue(which could of resulted from over watering which in turn could have activated too much N, throwing off the PH of the water), or maybe it's simply the genetics..Whatever it is, its not a big deal. If you're really worried, wait 3-5 days. if the condition hinders growth or spreads, then post it here and we will help you deal with it.. otherwise, ignore.
soil/soiless peat based meduims are way more forgiving of minor ph fluctuations (and minor fluctuations in feeding), and often will "work itself out" over time.. meaning its a natrual buffer and will correct itself (more or less), through the natural process of watering and the mycor and bacteria doing their thing in the medium.
As long you allow your containers to go through complete wet/dry cycles inbetween waterings, and you always water to point of run-off, you're good.. If your totally dry, obviously u want to water a little and allow the soil get wet so it can absorb water, then water fully.. There is no set amount.. it's just, however much water it takes for your meduim to be saturated and then run off..

Well its by no means a static amount across all plants. But my girls take 160oz ( 1ga+1qt) and they are deep in flower, and in seven gallon pots. They take water every 3 days. You have 5 gallons worth of dirt, and 2.5 gallons of water. For me thats too much. I shoot for 1/5 to 1/6 my dirt volume. But thats my garden. You could try watering less volume, with more frequency and change as their needs do. Its a cinstant dance. Dont build that ph up in your soil either.

k thank u also bud I will watch my watering amount I do the lift test once there light I water usually every 2 or 3 days thanks a lot

I have been running FFOF in my first grow, I have 4 plants in soil currently, and each one has needed extra cal/mag. Leaves began flipping completely over on themselves. Added technaflora MagiCal to distilled water and in one watering the leaves righted themselves.
