Curled new growth

The plant is Nirvana Bubblelicious Auto Fem in about 5 gallons of FoxFarm HappyFrog with perlite mixed in. 600wHPS on 18/6 with temps between 65-80°F. I'm using tap water that sits out, has a base of 350ppm, and I adjust the pH to ~6.5.

Plant grew consistently over the course of the first month, but has generally lacked vigor. She has shown sex but I waiting to see if she Autos, it is right about that time but I'm not sure if the stress may hinder/stop that.

I was getting severe curl from the top growth, I moved my light up and that seems to have helped a bit. Now however, all the newest leaves on each of the tips are dramatically curled under.

I recently used Captain Jacks Dead bug mixed with Humboldt Sticky to try and combat the thrips, and planned on doing it again after lights out.

Photos show the curls and a small time lapse of her growth.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

the first picture makes me think its over watered that little plant would take like 2 weeks to use up all the water in a 5 gallon pot. i also think its heat related along with the fox farms burning the plant, it very well could be caused from your tap water aswell 350 ppm is quite high.

Definitely over-watering there, cut it back to every couple days. If you don't have a water meter, check under the top soil I usually check about 2 inches under the top soil.

I am going to hold off on the water for the time being. I'll wait until she is reeeeally dry before I water next time.

What are peoples experiences with Autos not autoing? I could trim and train her into a small bush while waiting for the other 2 to grow out, then flip to 12/12. 8 weeks or so seems like a long time to do this though.

like i said if you if you lower the temps the plant will not get burnt as bad from the nutes, you cant do anything about the nutes in the soil.. all you can do is lower the temps so your plants can handle the nutes. soo it is heat related. what im saying is the heat is causing your plants to get burnt from the nutes by sucking up more water try and fix that.
