Hey all

Hoping you can help, just transplanted this girl yesterday but seeing issues and not sure what is wrong.

Current Temp is about 77-80f and humidity is around 49-52% (I know thats low).

Could it be the low humidity thats causing the issue?

They were in Peat Pots which kept drying out super quick so I transplanted a bit earlier than needed.

Any help much appreciated!

Hey ScrappyD It does look stressed a bit, you may try to give it a micro amount of food. Temp and humidity seem fine, you dont mention what setup for lighting you got going on. Next time bury them right to the bottom of those leaves. Don't mess with it now, leave it be for a few days, keep it moist, mist it with water a few times a day too. They are tough, but you can kill them with too much love. Peace, be safe MD.

Transplant stress I am guessing. They just need to get their roots going. Moondance's advice hits it pretty good. Foliar spray helps but I believe the roots grow slower if they eat through their leaves.

Thanks for all the replies! It was showing this way a bit before I transplanted yesterday as well, but I'll certainly start foil spraying and see if that helps!

The soil I started with was Seedling Soil from garden store, and just transplanted into a mix of Bio Terra Plus, Worm Castings and Perlite.

right now for light I just have

2x 60w 6500k CFL's
2x 60w 2700k CFL's
and a T5 tube light, though I might have to replace the bulbs as they are giving off very little light compared to the CFL's.

I do have a small oscillating fan thats hitting the lights and the plants to keep temps down, wonder if the fan is drying the leafs out a bit?

I think you might be right. Now both of my plants are wilting and crusting a bit on the leaves. Must be dryness. I'll keep foil spraying and maybe turn off my fan cept for at night to reduce air flow drying them out.
